Zaraki Kenpachi, the captain
The demon blade that consumes all.
A demonic swordsman whose soul burns in battle. He didn't take the entrance examination, instead becoming captain by defeating the previous captain of the 11th division in front of 200 of his soldiers and taking his robe.

Because he sweats a lot, he always takes a bath before going to bed, so he winds up shampooing his hair every day. Washing his hair with soap makes it brittle, but he likes that because it makes it easier to set. Once, when they were in a public bathhouse together, Sasakibe Choujirou gave him a special treatment to use on his hair, and the next day it was silky smooth. He tried to set it again and again, but the spikes were just too floppy, and the whole experience was very agitating for him. Nowadays he always uses soap. He definitely hates Sasakibe a little.

His offensive power and physical strength are tremendous, but his kidou rating is the absolute worst of all the captains.

Wild men seem to congregate around Kenpachi, the captain, making the 11th division the most combat-specialized group out of all 13 divisions. The first time you lay eyes on them, they'd seem like a band of outlaws, but they brag about being firmly unified under Kenpachi.
"Which one is the strongest...?"
The moment when he thinks that he might meet someone who is his match in battle is a moment of supreme bliss for Kenpachi. Fighting is his entire life. Without that glamor, he doesn't really care about the duties of being a captain.
Kusajishi Yachiru
A girl who is just like Kenpachi, and became a lieutenant without sitting for any examinations. From the day she and Kenpachi met, the two of them have always been together.

Her favorite place to go is the Kuchiki estate, because it's big and clean. She holds the budget for the Shinigami Women's Association, and likes spending it on things like candy and toys. These treasures get hidden in an empty room in the Kuchiki estate. Byakuya doesn't know.
The strongest of all 13 divisions!!
Since they regard combat as the ultimate law, the atmosphere of the 11th division attracts only stalwart men who live for battle. That's why the 11th division sets the standard for combat for all the other divisions.
They love fighting more than three square meals a day! The men of the "Zaraki Division"
The warriors of the division nicknamed the "Zaraki Division" would want to die in a flashy battle. Men like Iba and Abarai who go into other divisions as lieutenants are very common, all of them having a greater strength that was hidden by their official ranking in the 11th division.
