In preparation I've been replaying Final Mix the first, and so far I have these things to observe:
-Damn, the graphics have really improved since KH1. Sora actually has facial expressions now, as opposed to a frozen mask during 90% of conversations.

libekory made me do it and in retrospect I should've insisted on Begin in Daytime.
-I'm thinking that Zexion wasn't lying about what happened being Riku's fault. I'm not sure whether or not he was lying about Darkside being Riku's as well -- hopefully Re:CoM will clear that up some.
-Thank god for pausing during movie scenes, because I won't be able to understand a damn word Japanese!Donald says. I've heard his Japanese, and it sounds like gobbledygook.
-Mystery Hooded Guy on the island: Xehanort's Heartless, or some other remnant piece of Xehanort or? Maybe I'm just used to creepy-"daaaaaarkness!"-child-molester!Xehanort's Heartless, but it doesn't talk like him. (Probably not Xemnas, but I'm not ruling out that there are other pieces of him...)
-I might have cheated a little, and the Axel+Larxene scene on the fourth floor is much fun and omg can't wait.
