House: "The" (n) a recreational activity often enjoyed at parties
13!
I felt so bad when
Still feel bad for Amber, but I wasn't crazy about her, and I think House was genuinely disappointed this episode by her total freakout when she thought she might lose or be wrong. He was right; she needs to not be able to lose. I'm glad
Also, House, stop fucking with your best friend. Fake lawsuits and secret blood testing are all very House, but they have to be wearing on Wilson's nerves. XD As much as I loved the blood testing conversation.

(Luckily for him, House does seem to give a crap about it, when push comes to shove-your-ass-out-a-window. [Not so much before.])
And I have to add on Thirteen that I think she was set when he was having the meeting with Taub and Kutner, after being told by Cuddy to keep both of them. Taub and Kutner both had higher scores than Thirteen -- significantly, after she got docked fifty points; but during the conversation, House started cutting both boys down by twenty point chunks, even going so far as to dock Taub another twenty for being right. XD His explanation was that Taub had done better before he'd had a good idea, but I think there was this moment, where he was staring at the white board, where you could just see it in his face, the dilemma.
He was so reluctant to pick her for the reason of "I want to" that he was trying very hard to rationalize it. X3

But I still thought for a minute he meant it when he fired her and Amber. D:

God me too. D: I went all numb, with this kind of resigned, "We were wrong. He's going to keep only the ones who will 'get things done'. D: D: D:"

I like what Wilson said in a previous episode about pretty girls and how maybe Cameron wasn't smart and they didn't notice. It feels strange that all three of the original team are still there, just not working with House (Foreman being back kinda irks me, even if I do like his dynamic with House).
I love the House-Wilson friendship, but I really am amazed at Wilson's tolerance. It's pretty crazy how far House will go to satisfy his own intellectual curiosity. He has a pretty warped view of the world.
