Cross Marian is the extremely hot (http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj66/Tossino/Signatures%20and%20avatars/13.jpg) half-masked, half-bespectacled, redheaded (http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb148/joanachan/CROSSY.gif) exorcist General who took in and trained Allen after his foster father died, in D. Gray-man. Supposedly Allen was being trained to be an exorcist but he may or may not have been "trained" to do all the dirty work Cross didn't want to do (http://i37.tinypic.com/2njkha9.jpg) and cheat at cards in order to pay Cross's debt collectors (http://i33.tinypic.com/10y3puc.jpg). Let's just say Cross's mentoring has caused a number of Allen's complexes (http://fc06.deviantart.com/fs27/i/2008/105/8/6/WIP_Cross_Marian_by_nairchan.jpg).

Anyway the point is that Cross is a heartless womanizer who hangs out in questionable places, gambling and whoring and otherwise wracking up expenses, and he took a thirteen-year-old boy with him. He gets very angry if you mess up his clothes and he gets very angry if dirty people (except for women, of course) are around him.
