Dear Tales of Vesperia,
Why are my controls over my party members so ineffective and oppressively limited? I notice nothing changes in the battle when I use them, so I was wondering if maybe they're just a placebo effect. If so, couldn't you make them a little more placebo-y?

Dear Special Mission,
I am this close to telling you to fuck off.

But yeah, I feel your pain. Maybe try shaking up your party members' strategies a little bit? IDK.

I was confused because the strategy system is not like in other games. There's like, four default strategies, and then the thing they don't tell you is that you can edit the particulars of the strategy on a per person basis if you press a certain button on the strategy menu. skfaljf this made it seem like a pretty shitty battle system, especially since the default "Defend" strategy still has my party members running up to enemies and hitting them instead of, you know, avoiding them. XD
