Not Censored for Our Nation's Youth

"...judges keep forcing their arbitrary wills on people..."?

That's how Dubya views the ruling on homosexual marriage and civil union? Yeah, I can see how LOTS of perfectly normal heterosexual people are being FORCED to accede to the decisions of judges on this matter. There isn't enough sarcasm in the world to express what a dumbass statement I think that is. Look, if I'd barged in on YOUR marriage ceremony and insisted that your getting married was oppressing me, you'd have kicked me out on my face. Because nobody who isn't personally involved in a marriage has ANY right to feel personally about a marriage. If anybody here is stomping down on other people's rights and forcing them into situations they don't want to be in... guess who it is?

Personally, I can't remember the last time I myself felt like two random people I don't even know getting married felt like an infringement on my Constitutional rights -- unlike every time you open your mouth and express another goddamn opinion. As a matter of fact, I feel downright oppressed just listening to you spout your ill-advised ideas, like your urging to renew the Patriot Act, and your preaching about how damnit Americans should be cowering in fear right now instead of going about their lives and trying not to worry about the shithole you've pushed us all into.

Hey, Dubya. Arbitrary THIS, fucker.

switching to Buddhism

I hate stupid white catholic boys who do everything their Italian Pope tells them when there's supposed to be a *SEPERATION* of church and state. I had Buddhist ethics today and the entire religion is based on *guidelines* not commandments, more like 'I will try my best not to kill anybody' instead of 'Thou shall not,...' Also, the prof said that on the issue of sex the only things frowned upon are adultury and anything that's non-consensuel. He started to rule out S&M, but then went,... 'well, unless it's consensuel and that's the way you get your kicks'. So, yea, Buddhism is looking pretty good so far.

Dude.. this comment layout kicks ass O_O;;

Anyways... GO KAY! I agree with you on... everything.

Let us not forget the "No Child Left Behind" program of Bush's too. Damn thing TOTALLY screws over teachers >_< It's like... now they have to go to school for longer and get more degrees; yet, they aren't being paid any more money to pay off the student loans they'll have after all these years of schooling. Not to mention that it makes teaching an uncertain job now because if your kids don't pass the state's standardized tests (which I also have a problem with... but we won't go there), you can, and probably will, get fired. Yeah... we already HAVE a teacher shortage, and job unstability, longer training, and low pay isn't going to be helping that. It's only making it worse! He's HURTING education, damn it! >_<

K... done... sorry Kay-sama!

I got all twitchy when I heard him say that. He's such a fool, it pisses me off. Maybe you should run for prez, you make so much more sense than any of those men.

Know you posted this a while ago, but I have neglected to go about reading people's journals 'till now, and I just wanted to tell you that I HEART YOU.

I have not read something so ridiculously awesome in ages. So, naturally, I'll be quoting you mercilessly for weeks and then some. Hope you don't mind. ^^;
