Sonic! A food-measurement adventure
Sonic visit of hilariousness. We went there looking for hot dogs, and we found A) foot-long chili cheese dogs, and B) child's hot dogs. So we asked, can we have just a plain hot dog...?
Lady: Sure! Do you want a coney or a foot-long?
Us: How big is the coney?
Lady: It's twelve inches.
Us: ..........
Us: Uh, what's the difference?
Lady: The size.
Us: ..........
Us: We'll have two coneys, I guess.
Lady: The regular or the foot-long?
Us: ..........
Us: The... regular...
Then she brought us out a bag that clearly had a box that was a foot long in it, and Li was like "What..." and I said "Well, it's a foot-long." And we cracked up all the way home.
But the story is slightly less completely ridiculous because the two regular-sized hot dogs were just in a foot-long box. :(
