Just turned on beta testing for the new Create Entries page and holy crap, it's gorgeous. And turn on the rest of the beta features while you're at it. The icon browser is just beautiful. For an icon packrat like me, that is just...

Ahhh I want a game on DW right now so I can take advantage of it. I'm stalking the links I got earlier, but nothing has really caught my eye. All I can do is wait for Per Caligo Video or maybe resurrect and try to give away skiesofnowhere.

I did nothing all day on my day off, fuck yeah. I did finish translating the first chapter of Judith's novel, but... I'm waiting for a beta and I still don't really understand posting on Tumblr or know where on DW to crosspost such a mysterious thing. I will just be patient and try to write fic about Judith the six-year-old chef and her secret language with her dad.

I've been using the new update page since they rolled it out and I adore it with every fibre of my being. I was skeptical at first because omg they're REDOING A THING THAT I LOVE-- and LJ taught me that Change Is Bad-- but it's so nice! and user-friendly! and customizable aaaaaaa.

The icon browser takes a bit to load, but it's still quicker and more reliable than both LJ and IJ, so I'm happy with it.

I know! What is this?? Hahaha, and I remember thinking, "The one good thing about LJ's comment system revamp is the pretty icon chooser :( " but now I can have my cake and eat it too! (yea)

If this were LJ, they'd probably have updated the Create Entry page and taken away tags. And security settings. And the preview button.

I looove the customizable, it's adorable and fun and handy. I moved things around until they were right where I wanted them~

I just. It's all so lovely. I forgot what it was like to be happy with my journaling system instead of just settling for it. /lies on DW

I squeed like a four year old when I realized I could move all the things and put them where I wanted and where my hand naturally drifts to click on them and and and and.

I've been adoring DW for weeks now and now there's finally people here with me I'm so happyyyy. My friends list was so quiet and sad and now it's happy and talkative and there's comments everywhere aaaaaaaaaaa.
