I think if Imaginary Asbel is tiny, Imaginary Richard should be, too. :|

Not to mention, Cheria's reaction would have made a MILLION times more sense after you'd done all the party members. >_>

Imaginary Richard... is attacked by Imaginary Sophie! Cheria finds this unsettling.

--And now Imaginary Lambda appears! And BOSS FIGHT!

It's too early to say we won't, so I will say that I would like to see a representation of the conflict she feels. Maybe tiny Richard side by side with the monster or something.

[sincere]

By the way, Lambda is the shadowy thing from the childhood era that almost killed everyone. In case you're as slow as our characters in figuring it out.

[sincere]

Imaginary Sophie grows wings!! Of course she does.

Then the real Sophie starts to wake up, and she's not glowy and normal again. I guess she just had to get rid of all the imaginary people who were haunting her.

[sincere]

Sophie is now in good condition and seems to be able to see us again. Everyone is happy, except Emeraude, who expresses displeasure that she failed to eliminate Lambda.

Wait, what? HEAD HURTING, MEMORIES ARE PAINFUL

Emeraude finds this weird, since her particles should all be in order. We have to make some... /steeples fingers... final adjustments.

[rainfall]

Asbel: That's fine. :D /no questions

[sincere]

Let's not tell Emeraude to back off or anything because Sophie's been awake for four seconds and maybe now isn't the time to tell her what a failure she's been for something she finds hard to remember!

[temples]

But if she's not organic, can she really grow anything? Or does it not count because it's head!Sophie?

Am I wasting time and brain power on this?

[rainfall]

Asbel has a really, really bad history when it comes to standing up for his friends for anything other than physical confrontations.

Yuri wouldn't be letting any of this happen to you, Sophie!

[sincere]

You absolutely are. It is not worth the neurons firing.

[temples]

I think my neurons spilled all over the floor in the process.

[rainfall]

They were beams of light. She probably projected them out through her shoulder blade slots via a button combination somewhere.

[temples]

The logical explanation doesn't make it any less silly. :(

Of course it doesn't. Colette is the only Tales girl who should be growing wings.

And I mean physical as in you are going to be beaten up, because yeah. /eyes Pascal forever

Sophie steps into the information visualizer thingy.

...You know, we were specifically told that this thing visualized information! You know what would have made a ton more sense? Sophie's particles are glued back together, she wakes up. Emeraude realizes she doesn't remember her mission, and decides to take her to the information visualizer room.

Then Sophie's feelings become visualized, and then we see her remembering her fucking mission.

As it is, we had a completely inexplicable sequence with her feelings manifesting for no goddamn reason, followed by being told we should take her to something that manifests things, and then she is surrounded by symbols and half a second later goes "OH OKAY I REMEMBER MY MISSION."

[rainfall]

s-- sob.

[sincere]

Sophie: Lambda! I must destroy Lambda!
Sophie: --Hngh--
Sophie: /struggles
Sophie: /sets machinery on fire
Sophie: /stumbles out
Sophie: /falls over

Asbel is finally agitated. She's struggling with her programming because bawww Richard but she gets back up and announces fiercely that she's going to destroy him next time.

[sincere]

Then, because why not, the visualizer starts playing someone else's feelings, hmmm, seems like Sophie could have-- okay I'll stop.

Anyway, a tiny child with one red eye is playing with blocks, and a man calls him "Lambda".

More shots of the man: "A body really can influence a soul. Every day he becomes more and more human!" "But I put so much effort into raising him as a human being!" Then they stop.

Cheria: What was that?!
Pascal: I think he said the word "Lambda!"

Oh my fucking god.

[sincere]

Instead of talking about anything that isn't completely obvious, like "WHY DID PEOPLE DO THAT?" the party asks Emeraude if Lambda is human, because no one heard or saw fucking anything.

She tells us definitively that Lambda is not human: it is a monster that infects and feeds off other lifeforms. The party realizes that Richard may be infected by Lambda, and therefore we'll have to fight him.

Sophie is still experiencing feelings. "I must destroy Lambda. But Lambda is..." She asks Asbel to tell her what Lambda is, and Emeraude cuts in to be all "KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT."

[sincere]

Is there some way we could, you know, get Lambda out of Richard, thus removing all our problem here? No, says Emeraude.

More straws clutched at. We can't be sure Richard is completely taken over! We can't give up! And maybe we can talk to Lambda! We'll save him, Sophie! Together!

And now more glowy from our Lhant trio. Because of our feelings.
