Spent two hours wrestling with my taxes, gave up. I'll have to go to H&R Block next weekend and pay them to take this mess off my hands. Also spent some time looking at apartments/houses?? but it was not fruitful.

Meanwhile, I have been having the random want to replace all my icons with The World Ends With You character poses. Like, FUCK YOU, YURI AND SIF AND DINOSAUR ICONS. I NEED TWENTY ICONS OF SHIKI MAKING FLIPPY HAND GESTURES.

And not just that, but "because this race won't do things someone else's way". I mean, while humanity might also be potentially threatened in the future by a potential Krogan resurgence, I think it's very natural that Shepard would kind of take Wrex's side. Not only was she not alive to see the Krogan empire everyone else fears, her people were basically just figuring out fire back then. You know? She has no context for the Krogan as anything but these pitiful desperate people, and she's made good friends of two of them. She doesn't have the history of "my people were almost wiped out by your people".

She can understand and sympathize with the fears of the other races, but she can't empathize, and gosh.

She isn't as new to the universe as the viewer, I might argue. She has lived her whole life in space and she might not have the same 1600 year rivalry that the turians and krogan have, but she definitely grew up with the knowledge of the krogan as rampaging warlike animals you stay out of the way of. But she learned better. She knows those are stereotypes and not all krogan are like that.

I can't imagine her not wanting to give Wrex and Grunt's people a chance.
