Evaluation of an early release viewing for Iron Man 3:

“Easily the best MCU movie so far. Better than the Avengers. Darker than IM1/2, but still has a fair bit of light-hearted moments. The humor is more of the dry wit/cynical/ironic type. Also, Stark and Rhodey have really great chemistry, which more than makes up for IM2′s mess.”

This is an inspiring reaction to the cool thing I posted.

I would not say I have given up on dwrp, per se. Failed at it since leaving marina, certainly. But I keep having twinges and moments of "I'd like to lay on a game", most recently like... A day ago, with Garrus. So even if I keep sucking at it I'm not emotionally ready to just acknowledge that and be done with it yet, if that makes sense.

I KNOW EXACTLY THIS. I haven't seen the latest trailer precisely because I want to so much. idek where my brain goes but now that I can't wait to see the movie, watching the new trailer feels like spoiling myself, but back when I was like "Hey, Iron Man 3, that'll be something to look forward to!" I was cool with watching the existing trailer.

Saw the trailer for this two weeks ago and started sobbing. I don't think I'll be able to see it in theatres. (As you can see, the further I move from my undergrad degree, the more dramatic I get.)

I seriously have reached a point where I'm so excited for it that I don't need any more spoilers, so I'm not watching any of the new trailers or anything, but I did accidentally learn a spoiler that has me flailing with excitement.

Won't lie, I'm super jealous you'll go with them! I have already decided I'm going to go see it alone on a Monday, first showing. Best chance there will be few people there to witness my descent into tears of excitement, pain (this really needs to stop, I'll be in the middle of a conversation with someone about something I have feelings about and I tear up, wtf), and ... whatever else there is.

Somewhat relatedly, I was snooping around AO3 for Tony/Pepper fic, and I came across your adorable Tony/Pepper/Bruce fic, and it took me back ten years. (I stopped myself from getting too sappy, aren't you grateful, yes of course you are.)

Btw I has employment, and will get car as soon as humanly possible, soooo idk do you want to hang out this summer~~
