Marvel Cinematic Universe
Amnesia chapterfic, eventual Fandral/Loki (currently 8500 words sldkfjlsg)
A Loki who doesn't remember who he is must try to piece together what his life was like based on the varied reactions of Thor and friends.
Progress: Ongoing
He lifted his head, squinting against the wind that threw snow into his face. All he could see was more white in every direction: coating the ground, lining features of the landscape that might have been rocks, falling in sheets through the blue-gray sky.
He blinked, and lifted his head to catch a clump on his tongue.
He wasn't sure how he had gotten out here, but he was not uncomfortable. Looking down, he could see that the thick layer of snow had provided him a comfortable sort of bedding, and then a blanket to cover him as he rested, still. The blanket fell away from him now, allowing him a better glimpse.
But beneath him was not white, but a dark red.
Love triangle chapterfic, Thor/Tyr/Sif (currently 11,350 words sldkfjsg)
Thor discovers that Sif is in a relationship with his old rival, and as hypocritical as it might be, he finds that the old competition rekindles the old feelings.
Progress: Ongoing
"I only think a week's celebration in his honor is uncalled for," Thor said mildly, seating himself at a curt gesture from his mother. She glided up behind him promptly, her fingers winding into his thick fall of hair.
"Oh, I am sure of that," Frigga responded, a smile tugging at her lips. They were both dressed for the occasion, Thor in his resplendent armor and best clothes and red cape. But Frigga's somber mood was betrayed by her own choice of finery: her gown was a shade of dark gray, almost funereal in appearance, yards of the rich fabric spilling down her back and tucked around her hips, her figure silhouetted with silver trim. She was attending a festival, but she was also mourning the son who could not attend. Still, she put on a good face, continuing blithely, "And the fact that it is Tyr being honored has nothing to do with it."
"Nothing!" Thor insisted.
Get Steve laid oneshot(?), Steve/Sif (currently 1025 words)
Somehow Steve manages to catch everyone's attention when he comes down to breakfast with a hickey he didn't even know he had. Who can make a mark like that on the supersoldier?
Progress: New and ongoing
There was no legitimate reason not to have breakfast. Steve Rogers never missed a breakfast. He woke up early, showered if he could, dressed and combed his hair, and then went to breakfast. His mother had always told him that breakfast was the most important meal of the day, and she worked hard to make sure that he could always come down from the little room upstairs in their cramped two-story apartment rowhome. He'd even chastised Tony and Natasha for skipping if they were exceptionally busy or distracted.
So he steeled himself and went into the kitchen.
There was no reason not to have breakfast. There was nothing strange about today.
Heart of Winter continuation, OC/Loki (currently 730 words)
After the events of Winter's Service, Loki finds that his status has changed in Jotunheim, and he likes it. It gives him something to do while he plots to take over Asgard.
Progress: Stalled because of anxiety
In a thousand years, Loki had rarely been sick. He was not physically solid and powerful the way other frost giants were, but he still had their hardy nature. He did not easily suffer from aches or pains, and even less commonly became slowed or laid-up by genuine illness that kept him from his tasks.
Which was why it annoyed him to no end that pregnancy was doing what a thousand years of struggle and scrounging could not.
AU fluff fic, Fandral/Loki (currently 6700 words)
Learning the truth about who and what he is was difficult for Loki. But it's bound to be less difficult when he can turn to his long-time partner for emotional support, right?
Progress: Idle because of porn
All was not quiet for long before Loki said, suddenly, "Tell me, in your honest opinion. Do you think Thor will make a good king?"
The mixed blessing of keeping company with Loki was the impressive potential of his clever brain, Fandral thought, propping himself up on one elbow as his thoughts raced to find a diplomatic way to answer a question that could easily result in treason one way, celibacy the other.
Others without enough progress to report upon: Thor/Sif body image issues after the hair-cutting incident; Doom/Loki as Loki rediscovers the role he was meant for... the power behind the throne.
Mass Effect
Fish fic, eventual Shepard/Garrus (2000 words)
She came back from the dead with a fish tank, a collector's case, and nothing remotely familiar, not even her own face. Eventually she starts to fill all three: the fish tank, the collector's case, and her life.
Progress: Idle
"Now entering the captain's cabin," announced the smooth female voice that came with the new Normandy. Shepard stopped in the entranceway as the door slid open with a hiss, staring.
It was spacious -- almost as spacious as any apartment she'd ever lived in. A long L-shaped desk with a clear viewing case above it, computer terminals, shelves, a lit fish tank, a door leading into a private bathroom; with steps leading down into a recessed bedroom that held a generous bed, comfortable chairs for socializing or relaxing, and a dresser. She stepped over to the sound system on the bedside table and touched it; instantly the pulsing sounds of modern synth filled the air, layering the room with a honeyed undertone.
It was definitely not to military specifications.
Legion fic, tiny Tali/Legion, Tali/OC (1200 words)
It will take the quarians a minimum of two years to FTL back to the Perseus Veil and reach their home again. By that time, Tali wants to be able to say that the geth are no longer extinct.
Progress: Idle
Without the mass relays, the universe became intimidatingly large. The Perseus Veil was nearly nine thousand light years from the Local Cluster where the quarian fleets found themselves stranded after the Battle for Earth; even with state-of-the-art mass effect drives making daily FTL jumps, it would take any given ship months upon months to reach Rannoch. To get home.
For all that, the quarians were eager to begin the trip. So naturally, the Admiralty Board had to fight about it.
Sometimes, Tali'Zorah suspected that she was becoming jaded about politics.
Others without enough progress to report upon: post-Destroy Shepard, with her nightmares about indoctrination and her attempts to avoid the consequences of her actions, which I have started approximately four different times
