Azura charges right back in to the awkward topic face-first because omg not remembering your mother must be awful!! Jakob admits that he may have exaggerated slightly about the whole orphan thing... In reality, he was left at the castle by comfortably wealthy but total douchebag parents because they just gave no fucks. He remembers them, all right. He just wishes he didn't! Azura makes sympathetic noises, because wow.
