Silas catches up to Jakob to share that the soldier from the B scene went home, which Jakob is profoundly uninterested in. Silas taunts cheerfully points out that Jakob's kind of a nice guy himself, despite his many insistences that Silas is such a do-gooder and he doesn't care bah. He listened to Silas's problem and gave him advice and it was a huge weight off his shoulders!
SILAS: I owe you one. JAKOB: Then repay me at once SILAS: What? JAKOB: I demand you repay the time I wasted listening to your drivel JAKOB: Me? A do-gooder? It's absurd. It's slander. I won't stand for it! JAKOB: You will restore that time to me at once. SILAS: H-- How do you suggest I give you back your time?! JAKOB: There you go again, expecting me to solve your problems. Reprehensible.
Silas takes back his compliment, and Jakob is content. Silas is not fooled, however. Jakob is a DO-GOODER!
