Saizo is dying somewhere in the wilderness when Sakura finds him. He urges her to leave him and get to safety before his attackers find him, but she refuses to abandon him and insists on healing him. He later manages to thank her, but is curious why she was alone so far from camp. Sakura muses that she felt restless and went for a walk -- maybe it was priestess intuition of some sort. As a gift, he gives her some desserts from the capital of Hoshido, which she's excited about. He runs off rather than share them with her, though, and under pressure of her self-recrimination later confesses that he literally can't even stand the smell of sweet things. She thinks it's cute. 5/5, weirdly, but they were stammering and giggling a lot around each other!!


Then, we take it to the next level. The S level. Saizo comes to Sakura and firmly informs her that he is loyal to Lord Ryoma and so he cannot be her retainer. But he's fallen in love with her -- he finds her smile and laughter comforting. She's happy to hear it, because even though he used to be scary to her, she developed feelings for him after realizing how cute he could be. He does not consider this a compliment but he's happy she's happy about it...? Anyway, undying love. Support: Should've been cuter.
