TV Rocks My Socks

I have gone shopping, courtesy of Mike's car! I now possess food. Thanks Mike~ Last night's Bill Maher was as brilliant as last week's, and it is now officially part of my weekly TV schedule; today's The Batman was the best so far, and I'm pretty pleased with the dynamic they had between Batman and Catwoman. After an evening of her stealing from him and flirting shamelessly, and his sense of right/wrong being played with and being forced to defend her, and then being mistaken for a vigilante team...

Alfred: This is not quite what I meant when I advised you to find women who shared similar interests with you, sir.
Bruce: It wasn't by my choice, believe me.

But he half-smiles when Alfred leaves, and you know he kind of had fun, and this is how 'ships get started.

Daily political note: It seems like all our Republican presidential families are defecting. Reagan Jr is of course anti-Bush; he's gay. But President Eisenhower's son -- a man who was an ambassador to Belgium or someplace for three years, a Republican for over fifty years and a very politically-involved man -- has unregistered from the party.

Read his essay why.
