So TJ and I are watching the Japanese version of the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Will calls himself "boku" and is quite good at sounding impassioned and/or resentful. Elizabeth has a very Japanese girl voice, rather high-pitched for Keira Knightley's alto, but she's a very good voice actress. Jack Sparrow, of course, can never measure up to the original of Depp, but he has the most awesome catches in his voice for the good lines, and is very cute whenever Jack is going for cute.

"...datte NAZE SAKE GA NAI??"

He uses "ore" (I was half expecting "watashi" XD ) and is quite good, really.

But Commodore Norrington refers to him in this one moment as "Sparrow-kun" and now, for the first time, I want to slash them.

Because, dude. *heart*

Also, not quite all was transferred as we thought. The stuff in the "episode downloads" folder I pointed out on your desktop fails to be on my hard-drive. Because I lose apparently.

In addition, you didn't point me at that folder, because I never saw it until I noticed that there was a new addition to my desktop, which I promptly deleted, because I don't like things on my computer that aren't mine. ^_^

I'm Fantom Fox's friend, so I really hope you two know each other. Anyway, Will isn't "calling" himself boku. Boku is the male/more male form of "watashi(I)".

I spent six months in Japan and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese language studies. ^_^ That wasn't supposed to give the impression I didn't know what "boku" was -- it was only meant to convey character distinctions. There's a world of difference between someone using "boku" and someone using "ore".

And I wish I could show you where to download it so I could, but my friend actually owns the importn DVD, and I didn't have the opportunity to rip it from him.

See, that's the problem with text, you can't convey(right word?, I dunno my english sucks), the approiate tone of voice when typing. Although you can by using italics, bold, caps, and the like, but it's still not the same.

I hope I didn't come off as some immature asshole telling you what was going on. Haha, anyway, Nice on the BA of Japanese Lang. I'm working on my BS Computer Science Degree, with a Minor in Japanese, goign to japan for 6 months as well to get my minor.

I'll look around on some BT sites to see if I can find it, you've intreged me to watch it, haha.
