*somewhat belatedly* I can't think it's coincidence that the girl Ana Lucia resuscitated in the first few minutes of the show was a cute little blonde girl with a protective big brunet brother -- and her first thought was for her mother, which also strikes me as very metaphorically Shannonish.
Ana Lucia saves and loses that little girl... and at the end of the episode kills Shannon! PARALLELISM is my favorite word.
It's gooood stuff! But the fans are angry because [blah] is there and [blah] died and [blah] isn't what they thought it would be and [blah] isn't just right...
