Drabble Challenge cuz why not
Need to get cracking on my writing, Crysi made it look tempting, and, heck, I have way too much free time, what with the "can't find a job" thing. Challenge me!
Each person can ask for up to 3 drabbles, and you can ask for 1-3 people in each drabble. All genders and orientations welcome. Pairings are indicated by / and regular interaction with , -- but I'm Le Subtle and your pairing may or may not be nearly invisible.
I'm still on a KH kick, but you may also request: Tales of Symphonia/the Abyss, Suikoden I-III, Warcraft, Lost, Kyou Kara Maou, most of CLAMP, and Final Fantasy VI-XII (minus XI and VIII, although VIII characters may be requested in KH-verse, and plus Tactics). If you're really jonesing on something else, ask and I'll tell you. (In advance, I know nothing of Avatar.)
The format is Character/Character: prompt, as follows:
Luxord, Namine: fortune-telling
Marluxia/Zexion: politics are sexy
Balthier/Fran: the AU where he never took off the Judge costume
You can also request specific storylines, as follows:
Namine, Cid: the tea (AS)
Sora, Roxas, Xemnas: you know nothing (IXIII)
(No requests for NNK canon yet; there isn't enough of it to go around.)
Bonus points if you request at least one pairing that nobody I know writes.

Aerith/Yuffie: "Dream Home"
Of course, being Merlin, he had managed. That tiny little hovel somehow had a spacious kitchen, a basement, and an extra bathroom; and as a bonus, both of the two bedrooms were more than spacious enough for multiple beds. It was almost as if the designer of the house had anticipated five people living there, and had not been bound by the standard limitations of space and time.
Still, it was no grand estate, and it got cramped, living there with so many other people. Cid was a rude bastard and Aerith tried to poison everyone routinely, Leon spent forever in the shower and never removed his hair from the drain, and Merlin was always dispensing cryptic advice that Yuffie could never put together sensibly until after the fact, whereupon she would berate him for not explaining more frankly and he would act like he hadn't the faintest idea what she was talking about.
Yuffie sat on the roof, looking towards the castle. Somewhere near there was -- or should have been -- the spire of her father's manor. Maybe she just didn't remember well enough... Maybe it wasn't there anymore. But she never found it on the horizon.
Somewhere in the unsecured territory, near the castle... but that was the best she could remember.
"Yuffie?"
The girl stiffened before turning around with a broad grin. "Hey Aerith," she said cheerily. "What's going on? Need help?"
"No," Aerith said, moving slowly over next to her. "I just finished the dishes and wanted to see what you were up to."
Self-consciously, she said, "Heh. Just watching over the town, you know?"
It was her job, so it was a good excuse. But Aerith teased gently, "I can't help noticing you're looking over the unsecured city. Even you can't hope to protect that."
Yuffie kicked her legs over the edge of the roof. "I was just thinking," she said, "about -- when I was a kid. My old house. You know?"
"General Godo's estate," Aerith murmured.
Yuffie perked up a little, wanting to ask, You know about it? but of course she did. Instead, she said with a rueful chuckle, "I don't... really remember it well. I can't even find it."
"You remember! You just don't know this view," Aerith said, confident. "When we get there, you'll give me a tour, won't you?" She was smiling that... understanding smile she had.
Maybe she really did understand. She always seemed to, and her fingers slipped over Yuffie's hand, tangling with hers comfortingly. She didn't say anything, either, when Yuffie shifted closer to lean against her shoulder.
They weren't all that bad, really.
