sincere | Through season 2 of Bleach

I only started watching Bleach because I was interested in knowing where I would fall in what I knew of only as some massive apocalyptic fandom war of Ichigo/Rukia vs Ichigo/Orihime.

I finished "season 2" tonight, and all I can say is that I don't really care about who Ichigo ends up with half as much as I totally adore Renji/Rukia.

Long story short, everyone is awesome, especially Urahara, except for Ishida Uryuu, who while no longer a complete prick, is still mildly obnoxious, borderline damsel-in-distress at times, and kind of dumb without realizing that he is kind of dumb. (At least Ichigo knows he's not the brightest crayon in the box ~~because crayons don't have hair~~.)

I see a lot of pairings I am interested in, even pairings that are seemingly contradictory. (Kira/Hinamori, Aizen/Hinamori, and Hitsugaya/Hinamori? Bring it on!) Almost all of them are het. I'm not really seeing any gay here so far. Well-- there's some girl gay. No boy gay though. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I'd, well, find fiction or anything about those pairings ~~since I don't want yaoi~~. It's not nice and coherent like KH fandom is.

Also, for the record, I'm currently leaning Ichigo/Orihime.

Dude, there is a HUGE ship war for IchiRuki and IchiOri. It rivals the Avatar ship war. It's one of the reasons I stay away from the Bleach fandom all together. But even I can still hear the canons.

Concerning the Girl-Gay... if girls have met, they are probably slashy. It's almost like yaoi. XD

fandom_secrets. I'd never heard anyone advocate Renji/Rukia until I liked it myself, and mentioned it to

madfnorder, who admitted it was one of his reasons for preferring Ichigo/Orihime. XD

I'm not crazy about Uryuu in any context, so while I could see him with Orihime, I wouldn't ship them at this point. At the moment I'd rather ship her with Tatsuki and then watch and see where she goes with Ichigo. (I could do Uryuu/Nemu, though. BUT HE'D HAVE TO FIGHT IKKAKU FOR HER.) I like... kind of everything with Hinamori so far, though. She's adorable, and I totally respect her AHHHHH I'M GOING TO EAT YOUR FACE at Gin after what he did. XD

Of your last group, I don't know Soi Fong, Isane, Unohana, and possibly Kuukaku. Unless Unohana is squad four captain with the absurd braid? ~~She healed Renji though, she's okay.~~

YES!!!! I love the Renji/Rukia too! I watched a lot of Bleach and then trailed off, not because it ceased to be good, but I just fell out of love of watching anime for awhile. I need to catch up on Bleach again.

Also, I agree with the het in it and with the girl gay. I like Orihime/that one girl with the black hair who is at the high school...

*reads the other comment* I think I meant Orihime/Tatsuki. I'm bad with names. I also like Ishida/Orihime and Kon/Rukia (I'm weird, okay?!) And, really, I'll like pretty much any pairing if you give me enough time to think about it. Heh.

Tatsuki/Orihime is awesome too! And I don't object to Kon/Rukia. It's adorable. X3 His introduction via Ichigo was fantastic, too -- relentlessly macking on the girls in his class. Poor Ichigo thought his academic life was ruined forever.

I agree with you about the boy-gay. Out of all those characters, the only boys I'd really slash are Hanatarou and Ganju. It's freaking adorable. However I'm not terribly interested in the het either. Especially any slash with Rukia. She's just so small compared to Ichigo and Renji.Every time I think about it, my brain breaks.

And I know you'll be able to find lots of het for that series. This isn't one of those series where the boy-slash out weighs everything else, I think. Don't quote me on it... like I said, I'm running from the fandom.

bleach_yaoi, but there's no

bleach_het, which is what I'd really like. A bunch of the het pairings I like shoved into the same place. There's a lot of LITTLE pairing comms that don't seem to be very active, but that's just sad. :\

Bleach is awesome in every way. I'm an Ichigo/Rukia shipper myself, but Renji/Rukia has a special place in my heart. However, I've despaired of Kubo ever giving us any reciprocity from Rukia's side. Interestingly, I'm told that there's more animosity between Ichigo/Rukia and Renji/Rukia shippers in Japan, whereas Ichigo/Orihime is the rival ship here in the U.S. I guess I never thought that was especially odd, because it's Renji. Whatever you ship, you have to love Renji! ^_^
