The point about her youth and her success is valid, but again, *points at Yachiru example*, and Hitsugaya is a genius. It's possible Aizen looked at the crop coming up, with Renji and Kira and what have you and picked her for her psychological propensities, knowing even if she wasn't good enough now, she might scrape up to acceptability. This is more talking about any "raw talent" she might have, not her personality.
