Aerith (KH-FF7) x Aizen (Bleach)
Their newest guest didn't seem to appreciate the extra effort he'd made to ensure that her visit was comfortable, and none of the Hollows that so unsettled her would come near. She looked out the window, horror in her eyes, and murmured, "Can't you feel it? This place is dying."
"Of course it is," Aizen told her, unruffled. "The Arrancar would never allow their world to have something that has already been stolen from them."
Ariel (KH-Little Mermaid) x Axel (KH)
She's almost pitiful, really, her arms curled on the wooden planks and her head bowed but unable to cry. Axel crouches on the edge of the pier and rubs his hands together, the leather cold in the wintry morning air. "Hey, hey, I didn't say you had to give up," he says slyly. "Forget Ursula. I can help you get your man's heart-- for sure."
Her head lifts, something tentative like hope in her expression.
You'd think she would have learned not to trust by now.
Balthier (FF12) x Charlie (LOST)
Their heads were bowed together beside the fire, sanded features painted bright gold and copper. Charlie watched Balthier move the sharpie over his fingers and finally asked impatiently, "What's it spell?"
Balthier smiled at him, a quick grin that flashed white in the darkness. "Hero," he said. "Honestly, Pace, 'late'? A leading man is never late. It implies an unpleasant lack of control." He made a sharp gesture of his own hand that made the cheap plastic on his fingers and around his wrist glint like treasure. "Now, a hero always arrives precisely when he's needed."
Fran (FF12) x Gin (Bleach)
He approaches the captive creature slowly, like the smile that curls his lips wide. He says avidly, "You know, Captain Aizen was right. I should apologize for what I said about your ears -- it was uncalled-for. They're actually rather intriguing."
There's no fear in her eyes when she stares at him, not yet; but that's fine with Gin. It will be a step up from his long-ago hobby of pulling off butterfly wings, but he feels like a child again when he thinks of grabbing those slender ears and pulling and twisting until she loses her steely resolve.
It's an innocent curiosity, really. He just wants to know if she sounds like a rabbit or a woman when she screams.
Hinamori (Bleach) x Hitsugaya (Bleach)
He found her asleep on the deck outside her offices, dozing atop her paperwork and curled up under a blanket so thick that she probably didn't even feel the crisp that had entered the air as it began to snow.
"Idiot," Toushirou murmured to no one in particular, and ducked down to pick her up. (He had been doing it every chance offered to him ever since he was tall enough to pull it off.)
But Hinamori's eyes fluttered open as he ducked over her, and she smiled fuzzily, looking past him. "I was just watching the snow," she said in a vague tone, perhaps unaware of how that smile chased away the new frost.

Ichigo (Bleach) x Kira (Bleach)
He deflected Kurosaki's zanpakutou once, twice, and then stepped back, expectant. The human gave him a puzzled look that quickly became shock as Zangetsu plummeted to the ground, burying itself deep in the soft earth.
"Wh, what the hell?!" Kurosaki sputtered, tugging at the sword and only managing to drag it, leaving a furrowed trail in its wake.
Izuru smiled at him a little, feeling almost -- mischievous. He ducked his head humbly and said, "I warned you that I didn't think we could fight equally... Captain Kurosaki."
Kenpachi (Bleach) x Mickey (KH-Disney)
Kenpachi snorts and draws his zanpakutou, slow, letting the blade scrape loudly over the steel-rimmed embrace of its sheath.
The mouse crouches low to the ground, and a blade appears in his hand, as if summoned from the reiatsu in the air. "Bring it, big fella," he says, bright voice lowered with a dark promise.
Maybe he's a little impressed by the mouse, Kenpachi decides, and laughs.
Namine (KH) x Orihime (Bleach)
"I can't believe you made me a dress," Namine murmured, smoothing her fingers over the fabric. It was colorful and the style was flattering; she didn't feel scrawny or insubstantial. It was a world away from everything she'd ever worn before.
It felt like it belonged to her.
Orihime leaned over her shoulder, all but glowing with pleasure. She said avidly, "I've never really made clothing for anyone else before, it was hard! But it looks great on you. I'm glad, I put all my heart into it-- I feel like Ishida-kun!"
The taller girl shifted and bumped into her side playfully. Namine smiled, and hid the expression behind steepled fingers.
Rangiku (Bleach) x Renji (Bleach)
"If you win the bet," she said broadly, waving the bottle of sake, "I'll go ahead and make sure that Captain Kuchiki finds your portfolio when Ginjirou retires. And if I win the bet..." Her lips curled up in a smirk. "You come back to my quarters with me and entertain me tonight."
That caught Renji a little off-guard, but he recovered quickly. Well, who was he to complain? (And who was Rukia to complain, really?) "That sounds kind of win-win to--" he started, and then caught himself and frowned. "...Wait. Is entertaining you going to suck for me somehow?"
Rangiku's eyes widened, all innocence, and then she clinked her bottle to his cup and took a long, long swallow.
Riku (KH) x Roxas (KH)
Something inside him knew what the taller boy wanted, knew what he wanted to hear, and even as weak and shaking as he was, Roxas reached up to slide tentative gloved fingers around the back of his head. Riku's breath caught in his throat, and for a moment he was perfectly still before suddenly scrambling for his blindfold, someone else's name in his throat.
When green eyes met his, Roxas said thickly, "Caught you."
Now that he had looked, he couldn't unlook.

To be honest, Sora feels a little slighted that the new girl hardly even looks at him. She seems fixated on, of all people, Donald, gazing at him with rapt attention and saying things like, 'He's so cute...' and 'If only he were a bunny instead.'
Sora clears his throat and says, "Uh, excuse me?"
The girl finally looks at him, and her eyes are huge and this intense shade of blue-violet, and Sora finds himself flushing darkly. "Were you-- that is-- did you-- What did you say you were again?"

"Slave labor in the paranormal industry," said the reporter sternly into the camera, which was Watanuki's first clue that maybe he hadn't come here with the sort of wish Yuuko would be able to grant. "Ollivander's wand shop -- or Ollivander's sweat shop?"
...Finally, someone understood his pain.

The pink thing is silenced for a few seconds when he gives her a coat in her size, and then for as much as a minute when he sits her down and has Demyx play for her. But in a matter of moments she has somehow reappeared at his side and leapt up to curl tiny arms around his neck.
"Ne~ Exxy, is there any candy here?" she says, her eyes huge and right at his chin as she peers over his shoulder. "You guys don't want it, right~?"
Xemnas used to think he had infinite patience.

I fail at hinting, apparently. Ginjirou is, according to the Bleach Official Bootleg, the lieutenant of the 6th division before Renji. He retired to make goggles and sunglasses (that's where Renji buys his) and that's when Renji gets promoted.
