F, for real? Did new developments in combination therapy fix HIV? That would be more than a little awesome. We're not entirely sure it's genuine, but if CNN says the same thing tomorrow, well -- hooray??

God, while I was totally ecstatic and spazzing over it earlier ... now that I've calmed down a bit, I don't know anymore. Why hasn't it been announced by places like CNN? Since this is a pretty big deal and all fjaslgafjldk I hope it's true. DX

A quick Google search shows references to "combination therapy" in treating HIV going back even earlier to 2000. I hope that it's a new development in combination therapy that's more effective, and that CNN will catch up to it pretty soon. But I do note that the findings were from August, so... *crosses fingers?*
