As long as I don't grow a UNIX beard
Slowly I am becoming immersed into the world of the UNIX user. Earlier, I was griping about how obnoxious it is to not be able to use UNIX commands on the Windows command line. Then, I bought a tinylaptop that comes with Linux installed. Then
alicia250 began persuading me to change my OS to Ubuntu after I reinstall on my desktop, and
wy1d began offering pretty promises of dual-booting.
Someone remind me why I shouldn't do it.

How long have you had the laptop? Are you really familiar with Ubuntu? Are there things which Linux sucks at doing, and if so, do they really affect you and what you'd be using your desktop for?
I dunno. I feel like if you have a desktop and a laptop, you might as well keep one on Windows, because I feel like there's gotta be some things Windows is good for. But this is coming from someone who's only used Macs and Windows. :P;;
