Meme again??

I'm not usually much on memes, but I've seen a lot lately that I like.

Name a character from one of my fandoms and I'll give you
(a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon
(b) a reason he/she sucks
(c) a reason he/she is awesomecakes
(d) five things that never happened to that character
or and
(e) up to three people that character never fell in love with and why.

One character at a time, but not limited to one, if you're inspired.

Fandoms that are on my mind recently: KH, FF6-12, Suikoden 1-3, Tales of Symphonia/Abyss; Bleach, Avatar, Ouran, GetBackers, s.CRY.ed; um, Harry Potter

Stolen from a friend of a friend ([livejournal.com profile] fanfare).

Bleach and Kyouraku Shunsui, please? (Yes, I do have favourites.)
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-07 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
.Kyouraku will nap anywhere -- tatami floor, shingled roof, wooden table, random spot of grass -- but he actually doesn't sleep that well in his own futon. He spends a lot of nights staring at the ceiling. (Or else drunk and sound asleep.)
.Lately, Kyouraku tries not to visit Ukitake when he's too sick to get out of bed. It's just getting too difficult as they get older to watch him while he's essentially crippled.
.Kyouraku's previous lieutenants were the kind of people who enjoyed being independent and not having a captain peering over their shoulder. He thought, when he picked Nanao, that she would be like that. For some reason (maybe unfortunately, but also interestingly) she proved more interested in making him do his own work.

b. Kyouraku sucks because he is one of those characters who muddles up the aging issue even more than it already was.

c. Kyouraku is awesome because he's Kyouraku of his loyal friendship to Ukitake and his steadfast principles, because he's compassionate and insightful and also a drunken manwhore, and he'll stick poisonous grass in his mouth and just leave it there to wait for Nanao to set up his pitiful puppydog punchline.

d.
-Kyouraku has never thought he was friends with someone when he wasn't -- not even Aizen et al.
-He's never told anyone about the brief period of his life during which he was engaged. (Ukitake knows.)
-He's never been so angry or so so upset that he'll "burden" a woman with the sight of his agitation. (Nanao wishes he would.)
-He's never been far enough on a lake or on the sea etc that he lost sight of the shoreline.
-He's never forgotten the first time he lost a soldier in his division.

e.
-Kyouraku never fell in love with Rangiku. He'll flirt and he'll leer, but she's too close to Nanao; too tangled up in her own heart. Secretly, he's just kind of benevolently fond of Rangiku, like one might be of a child.

-Never fell in love with Hinamori. He likes it when cute girls blush and stammer, so he'll flirt with her, but she's too young and too respectful, and that doesn't jump out at him.

-Never fell in love with Unohana. He'll play at it a little, joke about how he's been pining for her company since the last captain's meeting, but she's a little too in-control, a little too secure, and he has seen her save his dearest friend's life more than once from the disease no one can defeat or control. That would cool any ardor to respect -- and gratitude.

Sokka!

*flee*
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
a.
.When Sokka was little, he lived and breathed ancient legends and mythologies and folklore. Now that he's outgrown those childish things, he's promptly forgotten all of them.
.Sokka has secretly worried all his life about living up to his expectations as the chief's son, but for all that, he didn't even really notice when everyone started looking to him for advice and decisions. It was just instinct.
.He'd rather buy something from a shop, or barter for something in a markt, than get something for free. Don't tell Katara.

b.
Sokka sucks because lol he's not a bender!!!1 because what is he, the Ayla of Avatar? How did he invent a submarine in three months? Stick to strategy and building bison armor and leave the inventing out of it.

c.
Sokka is love because he is protective, sweet, stubborn, smart, and doesn't need to be a bender to be useful. He's the leader of a group of people who could probably kick his ass. He wins.

d.
.Even when he was younger, Sokka was never jealous of Katara's water-bending.
.Sokka had never kissed a girl until Suki kissed him. He's still a little dazzled by it, thinking back, even though he's kissed other girls. It was a good moment.
.Sokka has never had any sort of formal education -- there aren't exactly schools in the South Pole. He picked everything he knows up out of his own innate wit and early curiosity.
.He's never eaten lemur. He still occasionally wonders what Momo would have tasted like.
.It's genuinely never occurred to Sokka that Katara might fall for a guy he doesn't hate.

e.
-Sokka has never fallen in love with Ty Lee. She's perky and pretty and would think he is the smartest thing on the planet and hang on his every word. But (he would be surprised, if he ever thought about it, which he doesn't) he would actually find that kind of boring.
-Sokka has never fallen in love with Zuko. Neither of them let go of grudges easily and even though Zuko had nothing to do with it and probably wouldn't have approved of it, Zuko is the brother of the girl who tortured Suki.
-Sokka has never fallen in love with Yue. Infatuated, yes: she was pretty and elegant and mature. But in love? ...Unfortunately, now he will always be confused.

Yay!
ext_52683: (Default)

I checked a wiki entry and all the spellings have changed! THANKS PSP

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
a.
..One of the gifts given to Delita at his wedding was a chocobo of exceptional training and breeding. But he only rides it when necessity calls for it -- otherwise he walks.
..He'll only drink tea in the afternoons, never in the morning or at night. It's a matter of discipline to him: he doesn't like how easy it is to feel dependent on it.
..The first morning after he and Teta were taken into the Beoulve household, they were given servants' clothes to wear. Delita was neither surprised nor especially ashamed, but Ramza was appalled.

b.
Delita sucks because was it really that important, Delita? Really? I don't think even he knows.

c.
Delita is awesome because I don't think even he knows if it was worth it.

d.
..Delita never really begrudged Ramza for abandoning him the day that Teta died -- but he knows that if their positions had been reversed, at that time he would have sacrificed anything for Ramza.
..Delita was never invited to join the military academy's choir, because he made it a practice to never hum or sing when anyone but chocobos were around to hear.
..He never, ever forgot that Ramza was his better, even though Ramza did quite frequently.
..Even though he knew that she was Teta's friend, and knew that Ramza spoke highly of her, Delita never quite trusted Alma to defend Teta from cruel words or actions.
..Delita never found out who left Ovelia that dagger on her birthday.

e.
..Delita never fell in love with Ovelia. He couldn't say why, except that there was never any real attraction there -- maybe he even wanted to be, after enough time had passed. In some ways she reminds him of Teta, and those are the moments when he feels closest to her; the rest of the time she is either untouchable or pitiful.

..Delita never fell in love with Alma. It would have been poetic, as she was his sister's best friend and his best friend's sister, and she was gentle and kind and approachable. But fantasies aside, Delita was quite and bitterly aware that a sainted noblewoman like Alma had a much more grandiose destiny in store. In the end, he only ever looked at her with wariness.

..Delita never fell in love with Balmafula. In a very real way he's closer to her than any of the other women in his life -- she's someone who understands the game he plays, respects (and fears) his skills, so he can be honest with her and talk to her openly -- but this same closeness makes him colder and more evaluating of her than anyone else of his acquaintance. He could never, ever trust her, whereas at least the women who don't know him as well he is content to assume their thoughts and actions. (Well, until.)

Oh oh oh! Azula? Pretty plz? *huggle*
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Azula was engaged once, to one of Zuko's friends. She solved this problem by sabotaging their friendship and then turning said friend into a laughingstock in public. The engagement was promptly dissolved.
..She doesn't believe in keeping mementos and can usually be relied upon to toss something the moment it's no longer useful.
..Azula secretly loves the nitty-gritty of history and will spend an hour debating the strategy used in some long-ago battle. She and Iroh probably would have done this together if he hadn't turned out to be a pansy.

b.
Azula sucks because -- um, because she totally fails at redeeming characteristics so far.

c.
Azula is awesome because she is a ruthless cruel bitch with superbendingpowers and doesn't hesitate to manipulate or abuse whoever is in her way.

d.
..Azula has never been told "no" in her life -- at least, not in such a way that she couldn't change his mind for him, or not that she's obeyed.
..She's never seen the point of pai sho.
..She can fake it like a pro, but she's never actually regretted the kind of life she leads.
..Azula rarely thinks of herself as a "girl," but anyone who calls her "manly" will regret it -- in due time.
..Azula will never tell him this, but once, when she was younger, she overheard someone badmouthing her brother and she instinctively defended him, slicing the man to pieces with venomous words. She isn't sure why.

e.
..Azula will never fall in love with Sokka. Too emotionally weak, too wild and undisciplined, too nice.
..Azula will never fall in love with Katara. She's interesting, much moreso than her brother, but she's still too nice. Azula could only break her. :(
..Azula never fell in love with some guy at the beach. Pfft. He was cute, though.

Hanatarou?

*nomnomnom*

[identity profile] okroginator.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
ack I needz a Hanatarou icon. ~dashes to find~
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Hanatarou is from a (very) minor noble family, little more than civilians, and has one considerably older brother, who became a shinigami, started a business, married into a more prestigious family, and retired from the divisions. Hanatarou still gets "Aren't you his brother?" even though it's been decades.
..He's actually very good at games of skill and luck, but he stopped playing because it did not win him any points with his colleagues.
..Sometimes, when Hanatarou is feeling low, he cheers himself up by reminding himself that even though Ogidou is handsome, and good with women, and popular, Hanatarou is the better healer. (Then he feels bad for thinking that.)

b.
Hanatarou sucks because his spinelessness and comedic value make few people take him seriously enough to write about him. :\

c.
Hanatarou rocks because he's selfless, sweet, and tries so damn hard. You just want to cuddle him all the time.

d.
..Hanatarou heard about the Shinigami Men's Association from Iemura, but he's never thought about attending. He's positive he's not the kind of man they want.
..He's never, ever told a girl he was interested in her. In fact, he's not even very good at recognizing when he is interested in her.
..Hanatarou has never gone mountain climbing with Unohana. She invited him once, but he refused, because alone time with the captain was a terrifying idea.
..He's never been any good at kidou that doesn't involve healing.
..He's never met Isane's sister in person -- but he's heard her.

e.
..Hanatarou didn't fall in love with Ganju. It's never even occurred to him. Ganju terrified him for a long while and even after they became friend, Hanatarou still dreams about a pretty, smart young woman, a lady, even though he tells himself such a woman would never be interested in him.
..Hanatarou didn't fall in love with Isane. It isn't that she isn't pretty or smart or a lady, or that he doesn't enjoy her company; it's just that her height has presented a challenge for him. (And his face is forever at around breast-level and this makes him so incredibly uncomfortable.)
..Hanatarou didn't fall in love with Hinamori. She spent a lot of time in the infirmary after the incident with Captain Aizen, and he took care of her, and she was perfectly sweet to him, but when she would turn to look out the window with her eyes far-away, he always felt very small and insignificant, as if her problems were worlds away from his understanding.

KH2 - Demyx

Bleach - Kira

Bleach - Hanatarou
ext_52683: (Default)

I said you can do more than one but one at a time. Fail.

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-08 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Demyx is from Midgar. Medy had never played an instrument in his life until a few weeks before their world was destroyed.
..Two of Demyx's Dancers have names: there's the Alto and the Soprano, his two aides. He gave names to some of the others, but he forgets very quickly what they were.
..The cue cards are the result of a solo mission at roughly the time of the Castle Oblivion incident. The world was destroyed, all right, but it doesn't count if no one loses their hearts in the doing. Xaldin has been meticulous in giving out specific instructions ever since.

b.
Demyx sucks because they never addressed his mood swings to my satisfaction, so it's all fan theorizing. Does he have DID? Maybe. Who knows.

c.
Demyx is awesome because he's such an earnest guy in the middle of the Organization, along with Xigbar, one of the few light spots in an otherwise hardcore group. He's fun.

d.
..Demyx never really listens during meetings. He tends to just tune out and snap back to attention only if he hears certain keywords.
..But he's never shy about speaking up anyway.
..Demyx never plays for his fellow Nobodies, except for the Dancers. Roxas asked him once, and it was hard to refuse, but he managed.
..If he can help it, Demyx never goes on solo missions. It's much more fun with company.
..The fact that many members of the Organization disregard him has never bothered Demyx. In all honesty, he doesn't have much use for those people either.

e.
..Demyx never fell in love with Kairi. She's clever and compassionate and interesting, and after a while she even stopped looking at him like he was made of dirt, but something about her makes him feel cold and hollow. Given enough time to feel that way, he would probably kill her.

..Demyx never fell in love with Zexion. The older Nobody is analytical and sly, and he never laughs. Demyx hates that. Even Saix laughs sometimes. Being with Zexion is like having your every move dissected and evaluated, so Demyx avoids him whenever possible.

..Demyx never fell in love with Axel. Axel is better company than Zexion and in fact most of the Organization, because he enjoys pretending he has a heart, and Demyx would rather have the pretense than nothing at all. But every now and then Demyx has these moments of perfect understanding that Axel is mocking him, has as little respect for him as anyone else, doesn't actually like him in the slightest. Demyx keeps company with him anyway, because it's still better than being the only one.

Ganju~

Because sadly, this is possibly the most anyone will ever write about him. D: Oh Bleach fandom, why don't you care about anyone who isn't pretty?

OMFG SHAME ON ME! *flagellates self*

I always forget how much I love Ganju until I see him in action. (& Bonnie-chan <3)
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Actually, before Kaien died, Ganju didn't think Bonnie-chan was so great. Temperamental, troublesome, liked Kaien better... but after his death, she was Ganju's last connection to him. He'll swear up and down that he and Bonnie-chan mourned together.
..Ganju actually has a girlfriend in Jurinan. They've been secretly dating for weeks. Not even his gang knows.
..His first kiss was Yoruichi; she'd been dared by his sister. Kuukaku thought it was hilarious, but Ganju was secretly upset.

b.
Ganju sucks because he isn't pretty.

c.
Ganju is awesome because he's funny, noble, and surprisingly heartfelt at times. And he loves his boar.

d.
..He never complains about the luxuries his family doesn't have any more, unless he's doing it just to annoy Kuukaku.
..Ganju had never been inside Seireitei before he went with Ichigo et al, so he was as lost as any of them.
..He's never enrolled in the Spiritual Arts Academy to train to become a shinigami; he dreamed of it when he was very young, but, well.
..He never thought he'd pity his brother's murderer, but, well, he'd take Kuukaku over Byakuya any day.
..Ganju has never figured out how proud and pleased his sister is that he has the knack and the interest to carry on the family trade.

e.
..Ganju never fell in love with Yoruichi. His sister's friends terrify him. He'd sooner fall in love with a lobster.

..Ganju never fell in love with Ichigo. Are you kidding? That loud-mouthed rude sonuvabitch? Ganju still plans to teach him his place someday. They'll go out for drinks after.

..Ganju never fell in love with Rukia. He may forgive her, but he could never look at her that way without imagining her blade sticking out his brother's back.

a.
..There are lots of things that Hitsugaya finds annoying about other people, but one of the most annoying is this stupid rumor about his being the reincarnation of some divine guardian. He worked for his position, damnit.
..He really, really wanted to dislike Aizen just because Hinamori idolized him so much. But in the end, Aizen was such a genuinely nice guy, and treated him with such respect and sympathy, that Hitsugaya wound up almost kind of maybe liking him anyway. He'll never quite forgive himself for being taken in by those lies.
..It's difficult to say why exactly Rangiku clicked with him, especially when she doesn't do her work, but he's privately glad he picked her up. He couldn't ask for a better lieutenant.

b.
Hitsugaya sucks because, come on, you're like 60 years old already. Grow a foot or two.

c.
Hitsugaya is awesome because he's a genius, gifted at combat and kidou, and will stop at nothing to protect what's dear to him. He's a total badass.

d.
..Hitsugaya will never tell Hinamori, but Hyourinmaru likes her better than him. Unintended side effect of winning his power because he wanted to protect her. (Which he will also never tell her.)
..Hitsugaya never, ever gave Ukitake any indication that he wanted candy. He hates candy.
..He never liked Hinamori's friends. Why do they all have to be male? Renji's been okay ever since Hitsugaya was promoted to captain, but Kira only grates on his nerves more.
..He'll never admit it, but Hitsugaya has always despised Gin -- partly because he's so obviously untrustworthy, but mostly because he makes Rangiku sad.
..He's always had such control over his own reiatsu that even as a kid, he never let Hinamori even suspect his talent, even when she was so pleased with her own.

e.
..Hitsugaya never fell in love with Rangiku. She's very much not his type: he can tolerate the loud and the brash and the immodesty, but that doesn't mean he finds any of it appealing. Anyway, he's thinking of someone else.

..Hitsugaya never fell in love with Ichigo. He doesn't know why anyone thinks he would. Ichigo is, in fact, uncomfortably like him. If Ichigo were a four-foot-tall captain, he'd be pretty similar to Hitsugaya.

..Hitsugaya definitely never fell in love with Gin. He hates sneaky, dishonest bastards, he hates being underestimated, and he hates people who hurt his friends -- what he did to Rangiku is unconscionable, and what he helped do to Hinamori is unforgivable. Hitsugaya will be very disappointed if he doesn't get to kill Gin personally, but he'll trade Gin for Aizen if he can.

ext_52683: (Default)

It's been a while, but Percival <3

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-09 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Of course Percival will behave as a knight is expected to in public: turn down a drink when he's on duty, and accept politely when he isn't. But the city wine, in his experience, never tastes quite as good as the wine from his own village.
..His usual steed is actually a gift from his friends and family back home. He had to do a lot of wheedling and flirting to get them to train her properly for battle.
..There are lots of moments where the social gap makes things awkward, but the most awkward that Percival has ever been with his best friend, by far, is when Borus is flagellating himself for his loss of self-control in battle -- and he just can't think of anything to say.

b.
Percival sucks because, um, because back off Chris, I like to pair her with Salome. (Uh, I'm made of fail, shhh.) I can't think of even a half-assed reason. Because he's way too flirty. There?

c.
Percival is awesome because he's handsome and funny and charming and smart and self-conscious about his background. Also, more people need to remind Chris that she's female, because I worry she forgets sometimes.

d.
..Percival never means it when he flirts with noblewomen; he doesn't mean it much more when he flirts with lower-class women, but he has more genuine compassion for them.
..He's never heard anyone compliment and criticize Chris in the same breath, both perfectly sincere, the way Lucia can. He thinks Lucia is the best thing ever.
..He's had many friends, but Percival has never had a friend like Borus before. It means more to him than he can say -- which is part of why he's been so afraid.
..Despite his best efforts, he's never had a conversation with Roland more than two minutes in duration.
..He usually makes an effort to participate in the latest fad in the capitol, but he's never understood them.

e.
..Percival never fell in love with Chris. (Although that's a more finite statement than it should be.) It isn't anything about her: on the contrary, he has nothing but the deepest admiration for her, and he would follow her to hell and back. She's smart, beautiful, powerful, dignified... He might like to fall in love with her, if offered the choice -- but Borus would never forgive him.

..Percival never fell in love with Lilly. He enjoys her company far more than most noblewomen because of her straightforward and vocal nature, even if she's superior and bossy, and he'll flirt with her shamelessly as long as she responds with mockery and aloofness. But he'd never sacrifice Zexen for her, and he can't help doubting her.

KH, Riku. I know I already got one, but... <3
ext_52683: (Default)

[identity profile] kay-willow.livejournal.com 2007-12-17 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
a.
..Riku loves to work with his hands -- to make things. Building rafts, carving keychains, whittling wood, whatever. It's simple and calming and makes him happy, and then he has neat things to enjoy with his friends, or give away as gifts.
..Riku likes being out in a boat, sometimes just lying in the sun and drifting; he can almost hear voices whispering over the wind. (He didn't know he really could.) One day when he was young, he was doing just that when the boat bumped shore and he "discovered" the play island.
..He's used to being the tallest, but a little embarrassed he got quite this tall in only a year. He sometimes winds up unconsciously slouching.

b.
..Riku sucks because, um. He's too cool for me sometimes. <--no, really, sometimes "I'm cool" is such a glaring character trait that I just roll my eyes. Also, he overangsts it a bit lol.

c.
..Riku is awesome because he's really incredibly dynamic as a character, and the center of so many fascinating ideas I'd like to explore.

d.
..During the time when everyone's memories of Sora were disassembled, Riku never once worried about Kairi. He just felt confident that she was safe. It wasn't until after the memories returned that he realized she was alone and unprotected, and started watching out for her.
..Riku never succeeded in making a shadow of Kairi the way he did of Sora, but he tried. For some reason, the failure made him feel guilty, moreso than actually succeeding with Sora.
..Sora was so pleased about being "a natural" at skateboarding that Riku will never tell him that he absorbed the ability from the fake life they imprinted on Roxas.
..After the mistake that was taking DiZ's advice about Roxas, Riku was torn about Namine; he never would've let her vanish into Kairi if Namine hadn't assured him that she would still be there. (Which is why she said it.)
..He almost -- but didn't -- kiss Kairi once, a little while before the whole incident. Sora has no idea, but it's why Riku and Kairi were a little strained beforehand.

e.
..Riku never fell in love with Roxas. Obsess over him, yes, but even in the digital world where DiZ made him so much like Sora, he wasn't... really like Sora, like the Nobody's personality was too deeply-ingrained to be replaced that easily. Besides, he was too incredibly troubled at the time to even develop real (and not-confused) feelings for Roxas, and with the way things were to end... He clung to Namine instead.

..Riku never fell in love with, uh, Yuffie. But they'd be kind of cute-- damnit. Uh, mostly because I don't think they ever met, yeah.

Riku has too many potential love interests that I like for me to do this right. Well, I don't mind Riku/Roxas either, so let's just pick another pairing I think is cool but not especially canon.

..Riku never fell in love with Namine. He felt terrible for her, wanted to protect her and defended her from DiZ's cruelties; he liked her and leaned on her like a crutch (ironic, because she wanted someone to lean on herself) for a long time in there. But in the end she made him wonder too many things he'd rather not wonder about -- feel too much that he didn't want to feel, like sympathy for the Nobodies -- and he couldn't quite be comfortable with her.

a.
..He was a Native Alter, yes, but he's not what most people think of as a Native Alter. Asuka lived in a small almost suburban area somewhere outside the city's wall and the first time he ever used his Alter it was to save someone; he went willingly with HOLY and they didn't have him brainwashed.
..Asuka wanted to do everything when he first got into the city. He walked everywhere so he could marvel at everything and took public transportation just to experience it and signed up for classes he didn't need and bought things he didn't really want with his salary.
..Cammy was a student in one of the classes he signed up for. She thought he was cute and latched onto him quickly.

b.
..Asuka sucks because the fandom totally forgot about him even though he's so slashy with Kazuma. lololol Ryuhou/Kazuma ftw FAIL. If only Asuka had tried a little harder, I know the fandom would've been all over it. D:

c.
..Asuka is awesome because he is such an arrogant bitch. XD FOR SERIOUS.

d.
..Asuka never tried sushi. He ate practically everything else available in the city, but sushi was just -- too weird for his skeptical Native soul. Kazuma would agree.
..Not even once did he ever think that "returning" to Lost Ground was an option -- not until Kazuma made him realize that it wasn't a death sentence.
..Asuka occasionally had twinges of guilt about his work for HOLY, but he's been much happier since joining the reconstruction effort. Not a guilty twinge since.
..He's never had pets (and to be honest has always been a little afraid of animals) so the mutant Alter squirrels have a special place in his heart.
..Asuka's never actually told anyone, but the bow form of the Eternity Eight has left a scar on his arm. It's nothing compared to what's happened to Kazuma, but Cammy flipped out when she saw it.

e.
..Asuka never fell in love with Mimori. He enjoyed her company during the reconstruction and he finds her intelligence and her compassion extremely engaging. But Asuka's got too much pride to chase after a woman who's already committed to someone else, and it's obvious that she is, and so he's never gone the extra mile that might actually have made him want to be with her.

..Asuka never fell in love with Ryuhou. He admired his superior, and wanted to be respected by him, but the other man is too distant and detached for Asuka to find him really personally likable; Asuka prefers warmer, more involved people, like Cammy or Mimori.

..Asuka never fell in love with Cammy. God, he wanted to. She was sweet and open and cute, and when she found out he was a "new" HOLY Alter-user she was impressed and not afraid at all. But he was always a little reserved with her, a little worried more about the impression he made than what he felt about her, and it was so easy to get caught up in her social whirlwind and feel good about it. Even now that they're together again, it's hard for him to forget all the new things that he's learned about -- himself, really.
