My folks know I'm a fan, and my dad is a fan as well. X3 So yeah, a lot of Stephen Colbert was going around. ♥

What I've seen of it so far is wholly awesome. And 75% of what I've seen so far is just the presentation. Definitely worth at least a trip to the library.

My address is posted on my LJ. It's linked to from the sidebar. I even linked to it on the card post. I say this every year, sometimes more than once a year, and still people act like I'm a big mystery whose every contact information couldn't be found out with a click of a [friended person's] mouse button. :P

Yes well... this week I'm clearly more of a ditz than usual. ~_~

Is the year over yet?

A lot of your family seems to be America! And mmm, tongs. You never know how much you appreciate a good pair of tongs until you find yourself precariously using a spatula and a butter knife as a half-assed substitute. Same goes for pots with lids. -nostalgic reminiscing-

My sister wanted a pair of $30 goddamn tongs because, oooh, they're RACHEL RAY tongs. I'm like, forget you and your Rachel Ray obsession, you are getting tongs from Bed Bath & Beyond for a third of that price. XD

I have come to a carefully cultivated dislike of Rachel Ray, Food TV, and all they stand for over the last six months. Now, honestly, I have nothing against the Food Network. But I have a problem with it being playing in the television in the living room twenty-four hours a day (literally!) and my roommates not wanting to, oh, go eat food because a new episode of Iron Chef is on.

. . . so, just sayin', I support your forgetting of the expensive Rachel Ray obsession. ♥

Heh, my parents would neeeeeever get me Colbert's book. They'd probably have people kidnap me and take me to some indoctrination farm with real goats and everything!

I don't know what that means...

Yay for gifts! (Robot Chicken, hell yeah!)
