Today was a weird day. Alicia ignored her 7am studying, her 8am waking, and her 9am class, and was still asleep when I went to my 11am class. (Rawr.) I actually spoke competently in Sisley's class for once, making a minimal ass of myself, and then I decided I was starving and skipped Koyama's class for breakfast and lurking in the computer lounge. Then I went to Ethics, which Alicia did not show up to despite it being at 1pm, and then back to the computer lab, where Alicia decided she would come in at 4pm for the other class we had. (Rawr!)
But I got my revenge. Mwahaha! I gave Sabine permission to come in at 8am and steal Alicia's blankets. >3
Then I skipped the 4pm class too, because I was waiting for
zinniazayda to come on because she is my new best friend drool gnaw jealous and may have a place for Salafi. And for dinner I had fried rice and toasted potato slab things, which is a meal I've had three times in the last week and luuuurve.
On the other hand, meeting with my speaking partner Mayu was easily one of the less fun meetings I've ever had (full of fretting, not speaking each others' language, and hand-wringing) so that should've killed my good mood. It didn't. I don't know why. Because when we did have things to say, they were good things? We seem to get along...
And another really stupid argument, or maybe the same stupid argument I can't tell, with Neesama. (You! Ju-san! No cheering!) It sucks, but I'd probably be more sorry than I am -- it didn't manage to kill my good mood either! I said a lot of things that needed to be said, even though I seriously doubt they'll be given any credibility. Who is it who told me that spine was a good thing? What a liar.
In spite of two relatively sucky things for the day, though, I'm in a good mood. Maybe I've finally noticed that I'm in Japan! Maybe this is very much what I suspect apartment living will be like and I'm enjoying it massively.
Or maybe there's something in the rice?
