Birthdays and Novembers
Oct. 31st, 2006 12:16 pmI don't know if I've posted this here before, but I've started writing my own birthday cards on blank ones instead of getting those premade ones which never say anything right. This will make finding a card for my mother less difficult.
I'm such a brat to my sister. You'd never know I was older.

It's been ages. What do you look like again? Are you blonde? Brunette? Somewhere between six feet and five-five, right? You couldn't be some sort of midget, I'd remember.
How's Delaware treating you? How's apartment life treating you, even? Are all your roommates still cool, or have they turned into slavering peace-destroying monsters now that you all have to run a household together? Do you ever have to take out the garbage? Cuz that's gross. I don't have to take out the garbage. Someday you should aspire to be more like me.
Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't, and it doesn't matter if your apartment is a waking hell. You can always count on family to listen with a sympathetic ear. Feel free to come to Boston to crash if you need to! Or Boulder, it's only like, a two-day drive.

Fucking November. I'm going to crack down on the Last Dreamer as best I can, although I'm so busy with the classwork and the Boulder visit and job seeking it's going to be tough. Maybe I should try December instead... At least I'll be home for half of that month, doing nothing...
