sincere: DGM: Lenalee's back to the viewer ([quote-xigbar] SO not rambling)
[livejournal.com profile] libekory and I just spent the last minute debating whether it is "smooths" or "smoothes". According to Word, it is the latter, and according to Firefox, it is the former. According to Dictionary.com, it is also "smoothes". According to Wikipedia, "smoothes" is a common misspelling of "smooths".

According to OED, John Milton and William Shakespeare used "smooths", and it has no quote using "smoothes".

That's good enough for me! Firefox gets a point back, after losing one for not having "okay".

(Yeah, this is how we entertain ourselves.)
