Random collection of thoughts

A) Today I heard my first Christmas song piped into a commercial outlet. Don't they know it's Christmastime at all? Well, it is the first week of November, you guys.

B) My new laptop is so. Incredibly. Tiny.

C) I was looking over all my old RP icons, which for some reason I still have -- like, Wrecka's and Zero's, and Bailey's from QPQ, and Elle's from that coffee house thing. These were from chat-RP and not prose-RP, so I didn't need to use icons of the character, and instead went and hunted down icons that the character might like.

Wrecka's were like 99% Disney, even the bitchy ones. Zero had lots of dorky cartoon icons, and Bailey's generally seemed to indicate that other people were stupid or that he was being sarcastic.

I so miss that stuff. D:

NaNo

Whew. After being choked up for days without knowing what I wanted to write next (finish the Gin/Rangiku? write the Shuuhei/Rangiku? I tried and wasn't pleased with it. write the Chad/Orihime?) I wandered over to the Bleach kink meme and saw someone had a request involving Rukia/Hinamori that really got my inspiration going.

I'm still like two days behind, but I got in another 1119 (...or 1169, according to Open Office...) words of mostly porn, too-much character fic-like-thing.

But I feel so awkward writing porn, and my buzz was killed when someone tried to trump my lack of progress. I'll post it anyway, making it only the second pornthing I've ever posted, but I don't know if I'll advertise it. Maybe I'll put it on my writing LJ and otherwise hide behind anon. XD
