Last chapter note: I'm fricking in love with Team Pervert. Don't get me wrong, I love Kyouraku/Nanao, but something about Kyouraku being out-perved by his cute girl sidekick...But I'm amused that someone read my fic about Kyouraku and Lisa's relationship and said "This was good, except for all the Kyouraku/Lisa sex." I'm glad you could look past the point of the fic, that's really big of you. I feel like they should run into each other in Karakura in the present day and have some telling scene of recognition. Ahaha.
But I wonder: Do people know that these people defected and became Vizards? Or were they just reported MIA DOA case closed move along please?
So Yoruichi was a captain. I think there was a lot of confusion about that before, a lot of people arguing that of course she was the captain of the 2nd and a lot of people arguing that she was not a shinigami at all. Now we know!
And the fact that Urahara was her third seat officer is kind of hilarious. I love them to death. She clearly doesn't think of him (never has) as an inferior. She's too smart for that. He's just her punching bag-- OMG WHAT IS HE WEARING UNDER HIS PANTS. XD
I'm totally adoring Aizen's apprenticeship to Shinji. Gee Shinji. I wonder if some of the shit you say in his hearing could lead to bad things in the future. It doesn't look like Aizen was using Kyouka Suigetsu's shikai. Dimensional fun? But Shinji is clearly owning him right now. Bwahaha.
I keep thinking that Byakuya's captain looks like the old man Espada, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
From Kensei's position in the line-up, he's either captain of the 11th or captain of the 9th. It'd fit nicely if he were the captain of the 9th (it means Vizards had formerly held the positions that would be abandoned when they all ditched, meaning that Aizen would be able to "fill in" those positions as he pleased, assuming a length period of time -- as in the current canon) replacing so many captains. But wouldn't it be awesome if Kensei was a Kenpachi? XD

The Vizards are awesome too, being in very powerful positions and everything. I think after they disappeared, some people in Soul Society (I'm thinking Yamamoto and Aizen, in particular) knew but they all kept it quiet. It'd probably just be easier that way.

The first thing I thought when I saw Shinji pwn Aizen's sneaking about was: "Kyouka Suigetsu?" But no, because Urahara shouldn't have seen his release before this...? Maybe? Now I'm confused again.

OMG shinji kicks ass! He's amazing. (He totally ruined Aizen's skulking as well) I think it's pretty clever how Kubo is showing us that basically the vaizards are super special awesome!

Kensei couldn't be 11th because Shinji and Love discussed earlier about Kenpachi's no-show. But it sure seems weird that Kubo's sort of hiding him, if he's the Ken-chan we know. I'm of the opinion that this Kenpachi must be Ken-chan, because there is a hint that Ikkaku and Captain Urahara are once contemporary. So either Ikkaku was a very well-informed Rukongai-dweller, or he was already shinigami at that time. And I believe Ikkaku didn't become shinigami until Ken-chan did.
Believe in Burimyu--9th division is the NO SLEEVES division.
