In a discussion about Peony and Jade as children:

libekory: Jade says he doesn't have shenanigans, those must be all Peony's.
kay_willow: Maybe. And that is a lie. D: Peony protests that Jade makes even perfectly ordinary outings into shenanigans. Witness the ice skating!
libekory: Jade says that it was going to be attempted murder. :\ Peony's pregnancies downgraded it into mere 'shenanigans'.
libekory: ....presence.
kay_willow: ........
kay_willow: Now my Peony voice is alarmed. D:
kay_willow: HE'S TWELVE. D:
libekory: _Multiple pregnancies._ At age 12.
libekory: And ABRUPTLY. Interfering with the murder.
libekory: But Jade says Peony is being patently ridiculous if he's alarmed.
libekory: He hasn't perfected that process yet.
kay_willow: Jade was going to plunge Saphir through the ice, and then Peony went, "Whoa! I've been visited by an angel just now, I think I might be pregnant."
kay_willow: And Jade was forced to stare at him witheringly instead of almost killing Saphir.
libekory: Immaculate conception? From Peony? So shocking. Even at age 12.
