Hacked?! The trials and tribulations of failure
My WoW account has been hacked. Last night I had a weird problem where hitting Tab would close WoW. I had to log back on like every five minutes.
I guess someone stole my password when I did.
This morning I woke up to find that Saiyene was transferred to Duskwood, almost all her items are gone, all her gold is gone, and most of her bank items AND the bags they were in. (Still have Awbee's Scale!!) My hearthstone was used only 15 minutes ago. Some of her gear has been savaged, too -- she has Benediction on, but she wasn't using Benediction, she was using something from a high-end BC dungeon.
It's been so long since I really played Saiyene, though, (because I wanted to move her back to Eonar and not get her entrenched in her new server) that I have no idea what's missing. I can't give them any useful information.
Oddly, things that I do still have include both her mounts and 100 Burning Blossoms for the Midsummer Fire Festival. I guess they went and raided a Horde city for me on my new server. How thoughtful.
Now I can't transfer her back to Eonar...
Edit: And they ditched her professions. Great.
Edit: Blizz has restored some of her vendored items. Welcome home, Black Kingsnake! Still no word on the gold, the realm transfer, or the epic fail.

This did remind me to up my security, though. I'm running noscript now (it drives me crazy but oh wells). And to check and see what Vex has on, just to check. It's nothing amazing but still....
