I guess Bleach 320 was cool. Those guys are still funny and I like Kira's spine.

He, he's okay, right? He's still okay. Hoshino's going to pull a shounen manga on us and they'll be like, "Oh, someone shot him in the face ten times, but he's still conscious to have parting words, and then he'll faint, but we'll put him in the hospital for a month and then he'll be back as good as new."

Oh poor Allen.

On a less horrified note, Allen and Lenalee are so cute argh, and Lavi killed me every time we glanced at him for a panel during Allen's touching little rant.

And we totally know what Lavi's going to be doing for the next few chapters. Way to be too subtle, Bookman. He's got to be realizing he's going to lose Lavi at this point. Kid's either going to die, defect or be the first Bookman with a heart. Either way, he won't be what Bookman wants him to be.

But yeah, Bookman definitely -- definitely wasn't telling Lavi everything, and that's either A) a really bad decision because it's going to make Lavi keep wondering, or B) a conscious decision acknowledging the fact that Lavi can't keep this shit up.

Allen's little speech... Oh Allen I love you. :\ And this will break his heart.

I don't think it was Allen, either... at least, I am hoping it wasn't. But he'll totally be blamed for it. I wonder if Cross was actually shot, or he died (just a flesh wound, dammit! D:) some other way.

I think it was B, but the side effect will be A. And the more I think about it, the more I wonder if Bookman wouldn't have prime motive for getting Cross out of the way. Especially if this "other side" thing is something he doesn't want anyone to know. :x

I love how Allen's still incredibly upset and shocked, but he's still Allen. Not one to brood or visibly angst. Instead, he threatens Cross with violence if he doesn't let him talk. XD <3 <3

re: Bleach.

The Yumichika battle is killing me because

a. it's hilarious

and

b. it has the very serious potential to lead to a bad (dramatically good) place wrt Ikkaku.

This is the second (third?) time in a fight we've seen Yumichika where he is not. enjoying. himself. If Ikkaku had been in his place, with a broken arm and against an overpowerful opponent, he would have been ecstatic. Yumichika, however, looks pretty miserable in some of the shots. I'm wondering if he'll have to pull out his special technique in order to win (which would, of course, have definite consequences when Ikkaku/division11 find out).
