Fic Musings
So, I'm thinking, I really want to write a fic about Kura's wife, because I think she sounds cool. (I'm not the only one who noticed that they specify that she looked different from most of the Geo people, and in fact looked a decent amount like Laguna, right? Damn, Kura didn't have a thing for Laguna at ALL, nope, totally platonic mismatched friendship there.) But they don't have a name for her... and I can't do it without a name. She needs a NAME. So, because I'm a dork, I put aside that story idea.
I'm going to try starting on my Ban/Clayman fic. I've already decided on a name for Clayman, so that's easier. And since my internal Sakura is being very quiet and uncooperative, and my Threesome appear to be busy getting used to their new climate... I think those guys want to be written while I'm in class. Yes, you guys! Keep me from honest work!

I saw a new anime yesterday, "Stellvia of the Universe". I was expecting some sort of Japanese anime version of 2001: A Space Odyssey from the name, very dramatically-drawn and whacking you over the head with bricks of deep meaning and all, but it isn't like that at all. It's very shoujo and cute! The characters all have very small round faces, and have huge Fruits-Basket-Tohru-esque eyes in comparison, and they're all... CUTE. And the colors! It's totally shoujo. Storywise it reminds me of Megami Kouhosei, except the candidates are girls instead of guys, and there doesn't appear to be a pressing enemy to fight yet. Oh, and the heroine is Erts instead of Zero, but no worries; the local Zero-esque girl has already established a healthy yuri vibe between them. I look forward to seeing more, although I sense no particular fic urges for it at this point in time. ^_^
I also saw this anime called "E's", but I didn't like it so much. Shenlong's extremely girly voice annoyed me to no end; his sister could've managed a better man's voice. It didn't draw me in at all...
Well, fic-writing. I have to edit the Ginji thing, which I'll do before next Wednesday; then I think I might start translating more of Toshiki's thing. I can't write Threesome fic until I know what Hell Night was, damnit.

Anyway, I was reading through vol. 9, and I think I kind of get what "Heru Naito" is... for one, I think we've been mistaking what should be "knight" for "night": It's "Jigoku no Kenshi" (地獄の騎士). If I'm reading this correctly, it's Toshiki's nickname because of his fighting style (Ban guesses it's aikido) back from the days he was a member of Fuuga...?
