"You're quite sure this is what you want?" he said, for perhaps the eightieth time.
Gwendolyn closed her eyes, and tried not to smile too broadly. "Yes," she told him. I have never been more certain of anything in my life/
She knew that at least part of what she felt for him was a spell, punishment for her betrayal and her father's humiliation at her hands. She did not care.
Oswald loved her, as no one in her life it seemed had ever loved her, and there was no spell on him. Even if the sweet ache in her heart was a lie, the feelings he seemed to have for her...
Roxas paused in his routine when he received the notification that Axel had logged on. He sent him a terse message informing him that he was late, and then resumed practice; he was already waiting at their usual meeting place, so he didn't see the need to be more detailed than that.
He was so embroiled in his routine, darting low and jabbing an imaginary opponent with his blades, that he almost missed it when a fan flew out of the darkness right for him; it took a nimble flip over the top to keep him from getting struck. Roxas glowered at Axel as the tall figure emerged, hands on his hips and looking smug.
"Why did you roll a support class if you planned on attacking your own allies?" Roxas asked, sourly. He'd never met a Macabre Dancer who was into PKing before Axel.
Axel put a finger wrapped with green markings to his lips. "No one ever expects the Spanish inquisition," he said, ruining the solemn pose with a smirk.

Re: .hack//KH: Axel/Roxas
Axel would totally be a Macabre Dancer, and I can see him being a PKer
(it's probably a good thing he didn't use elemental spells on Roxas). You two have cheered me up immensely. Thank you so, so much!
