Backlogging! The grim victory

I've discovered that use of Backloggery makes me a terrible person. I'm not especially enjoying my Dissidia experience, to the point where I'm skipping all the cutscenes out of grim determination to just get to the end of the game so that I can actually say I beat it so I don't look lame on Backloggery. I'm sorry, Bartz and Firion! I have Terra, the Onion Knight, and the Warrior of Light left after I finish Bartz.

Still I am determined to defeat Dissidia and then go back and play every Final Fantasy game through X in preparation for FFXIII coming out in March. This is an incredibly stupid desire, but I am desiring it anyway.

In personal news I need four fillings and I am scared to death, we may have sold my dad's condo in Florida, the estate should be closing this month and then I get free monies, blah blah whatever personal news.

Excited about incredibly dorky Pern game!! [community profile] skiesofnowhere, guys. (That is the code Dreamwidth gave me to use on LJ. I hope it looks good.)

...seriously though. Has anyone recently had fillings. ;;

sob, I have such a paralyzing fear of the dentist leftover from a childhood encounter that I have literally blocked out of my mind and have no memory of. And he told me this after I had a petrifying experience with some idiot intern and before they cleaned my teeth so I was trying to cry and get my teeth cleaned at the same time and that was awkward for everyone and I hope they learned their lesson.

The last time I had a filling done, it took four attempts with the anaesthetic before it would take. Yes, four. They had to numb me four times. I had to make a walk of shame back to my house with my a mouth I couldn't even open, and had a massive headache the rest of the day.

Fortunately, my dentist is hot.
