EPIPHANY! Awaken to a beautiful future
I just realized something.
I read this article about a crazy redneck using his stereotypical pickup truck to attack a man and a little girl in a car with an Obama bumper sticker. Joshes thought it was sad, but I don't think the pair was hurt, and the crazy guy was arrested for stupidity with a vehicle. I was like "lol good, go rot in jail where you can't vote anyone stupid in office".
and then I had a vision of the future
a beautiful future, you guys
It is a future in which the especially crazy frothing at the mouth teabaggers have all committed various forms of vandalism, assault, conspiracy to assassinate a sitting president, etc, and they all get put in jail.
That leaves just us: the sane people, capable of rational discourse! There will be no more rabid wingnut constituency for the politicians to worry about! We will all have a mature adult exchange of ideas and tolerate the opinions of others and not endorse ridiculous hyperbolic claims about how health care reform is the holocaust and slavery combined (I can't take the credit for this bit of stupidity, it's in the comments to that very article)!
