I'm so close to being done with Tales of Vesperia that I'm itching. And thank god, because I've been ignoring Marina all week trying to power through it, and that's not going to fly. (Been slacking on World of Warcraft too.) I love, love, love this game, and it is astounding how very, very, very gay Rita is for Estelle and Flynn is for Yuri. I just can't even deal with it.

On a related note, I noticed that springkink is starting up again, and I noticed they'd never had a filled Tales of Vesperia request... So I wrote up three prompts for it, and then realized I wanted to write them all myself. This is the problem with me and writing prompts. Either I don't care enough to think of anything, or I like the idea so much I just want to write it myself.

Still no iPod Touch. Filed a police report, though...

Vesperia is just -- amazing. Yuri is my favorite video game character of all time. He's so completely unique amongst the Tales "idiot with a sword who derps into trouble but wins via idealism" heroes. There's no blatant shoe-horned-in romance! (Possibly because of all the amazing gay.) Yuri is 110% badass, and is a stable older brother figure for the other characters who guides them when they don't know what to do or what's right -- but his own convictions lead him to a moral quandry that unsettles him deeply but in a way where no one in his party even knows about it. I mean... holy crap, this is a game where SUBTLETY is often used in DIALOGUE! and Yuri groans when his younger comrades get all "Justice!!"
