dw_community_promo: Advertising communities -- a lot are springing up, so check it every now and again if you want to find new communities.

dreamcodes: Profile codes, muse lists, CR charts, etc. All the delicious code things a roleplayer could ask for.

dreamwidthlayouts: Are the official layouts not cutting it for you? Here are people constantly making more, and they're easy to implement, and gorgeous.

P.S.: If you're not using this layout, you are missing out.

talesof: The Tales of... general series community. Go here to crosspost your fic, have discussions, ask questions, etc.

anime_manga: What it says on the tin. All anime and manga content can go here.

100_women: I adore big challenge charts and female characters. So this is perfect! It's no-claims, and there are charts for 100, 50, or even just 10 challenges, so it's very low-pressure!

tales_100: This is a drabble community for Tales of fandoms; limited to 100 words only. The current prompt is "any past prompt you like", so look through them and see if you're pinged?

fic_promptly: Every weekday they post a new topic (for example, today's is "umbrella") and you suggest prompts in the comments that can be specific to whatever fandom you love. It's like a prompt meme on demand. You can also go back and fill old unfilled prompts at any time~ I'm kind of in love with this idea now that I've figured it out.

1sentencefic: 1 sentence writing challenge, naturally. A big table with 100 prompts for which you can write one sentence apiece.

no_true_pair: Scheduled. Make a list of 8 characters, and the mods give you a list of prompts -- pairing determined by the number you chose! It's fun and irregular.

areyougame: Scheduled. Throw down prompts for your favorite game fandom and then write others!

As someone who is new, I appreciate this.

I'm not a huge writer, but fic_promptly looks interesting. I'm interested in your Luke/Natalia prompt and do have a story for it already (though I'm a little unsure about it). Can I just post to the prompt or does this whole select members things mean I have to get permission to do it first?

eee a story! ♥♥ It'll make me happy just to not be throwing prompts at the empty air.

The idea is that you make a comment with a prompt related to the theme of the day (so I saw "umbrella" and I thought "Estelle looking at a rainy Zaphias from her castle window", so I made a comment to that effect) and then other people write a short story based on that. You may need to be a member to comment, but all you have to do is join the community, no permission or introduction necessary. You just -- comment! I filled one and I'm embarrassed about it that went up the first day I stumbled across the community: here.

It's a little long (hope that's fine) and it might seem like it's dealing with another issue but the plot is basically Natalia dealing with having both Asch and Luke in her life, and not, and the issues she has to work out with herself and them. I just hope I got everything all right (I hate it when I don't deal with characters well enough). Xp I'll post it later this week for sure when I look it over a few more times when my schedule opens up (it's already done, just needs tweaks).

I Love how you make their voices come alive. It's a feat I don't think many other fic writers can capture as well as you. XD Lol, Flynn ecspecially is so funny and with how invested he can get along with Yuri's 'feelings, what these feelings you speak of?' contrast with how secretly sentimental he can be (though I feel awkward with threesomes so I kind of hightailed it out of there by the end when I figured I should have read the prompt first maybe, oops. Oh well). XD

It's only 900 words long, nobody actually does anything, it's just lots of setup. ^^;; But I'm glad you liked what you read! I'll look forward to reading yours.

I posted it now. Word of warning, my writing is a little...weird I think. Or at least different since I don't see a lot of writers using it that much. =/
