Hopefully-Daily Calorie Rundown
I'm calorie counting. In public so that you all can shame me if I fail to do so. The idea is to have four meals at 350 calories apiece throughout the day and to try to avoid straying above my daily allotment of 1400 calories. I will occasionally (and hopefully not often) indulge in "splurging" meals (usually Chinese or sushi) where I won't count, since I physically... can't. As long as the rest of the day / week is on track, it shouldn't be a big deal...

I unthinkingly purchased two deli sandwiches with no calorie counts while at King Soopers. I ate only about half of it and decided to just write it off as the full calorie count for the meal and not let it drag me down.

That's right, I'm a fucking hobbit. Co-worker pressured me into eating one of her gluten-free brownies! I very nobly only had a quarter of a piece of one, sacrificed my planned granola bar, and gave it the same calorie count.

So I'm just documenting it now, in the hopes that it'll keep me honest. You can count with me if you feel like undertaking a completely crazy endeavor!!

Good idea. I figure if you do what you're supposed to do 90% of the time, you can afford to do what makes you happy that remaining 10%.

I figured, I'm already trying to change like four major things about my lifestyle, which everyone says you should never do. If I try to cut out Chinese food and sushi, eventually it'll screw me over -- whether because I stop counting because I'm so busy beating myself up for one meal with unaccountable and probably too many calories, or because I'll end up going "I deserve sushi, I had a rough day at work" "I deserve Chinese, I had a headache" "I deserve a pizza, I was sad briefly today" and suddenly I ordered in five times in the week. I'm the worst at excuses.
Thanks for the support ♥
