FFXIII-2: The Quittening

rainfall and I came to the end of the Dying World 700 AF sequence in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and mutually agreed that we had reached a critical mass of terrible, and shut off the game. Tomorrow we will sell it back to Gamestop for $30.

I regret everything.

I only wish I could be like you and finally learn to quit the FF franchise. Alas, I forced my way through to the final boss and am stuck as I can't be bothered to back track to level and fighting 3 Bahamuts is a bit of an overkill.

I doubt I've quit the franchise, although XIII was bad and if the next game out is this bad I don't know if I can keep doing it -- wait, the next game out is another XIII game and an MMO. So I may have quit for the foreseeable future.

But trust me, when I quit I spoiled myself for the ending, and it ruins everything. I'm going to pretend FFXIII ended with FFXIII.

I ragequit FFXIII at Chapter 10... I think. Fang was facing off against her eidolon and I just. Forgot to care. So you've done infinitely better than me!

You know what's sad? FFXIII-2 has given me fond memories of FFXIII! I spoiled myself for the ending and I'm like, wow, both the plot and the ending of this game ruin everything about FFXIII. I'm going to pretend it doesn't exist and FFXIII was the end.

Yeah, I read spoilers for the true ending about five minutes after you guys starting playing it and I was like, um.

Oh, it always sucks when you buy a 60 buck game and sell it back later for 30. X/

I know this very well from past experience, it's disheartening.

Maybe when Graces and other games like Kingdom Hearts 3D comes out this year you'll forget about this and look back on it like a bad dream?

Sadly, the $30 is a big promotion they're running. Fucking scam artists. /sob

We already disliked it so much that we'd agreed to power through it and then sell it back before the promotion was up. But then we kept playing and it just kept being more and more terrible. :D

I can't wait for Graces. ...when does KH3D come out? I just realized I have no idea. I still haven't finished Coded... /cough

In Japan its coming out March 29th this year. For Europe and America, there is no real date, but several of the english voice actors have said they're done recording now since they started early. So rumors are going around maybe in July? Of course those are just rumors, all I know is that some time this year for sure.

I'm excited The World Ends With You is in it, and that's pretty much all I know about it. Other than that Riku's character design is kind of creeping me out.
