Beat and Rhyme never made it to 104 yesterday after Pinky messed with them, but they're still in the Game. So you don't necessarily have to achieve the mission objective to survive? We are all confused about this! Their mission timer vanished early.

Rhyme ponders if maybe when Neku and Shiki made it to 104, everyone's timers vanished. She and Neku are the smart ones.

Unfortunately, Neku doesn't want to play with the other children! He turns down their offer to work as a quartet. He doesn't trust you bitches. Take that.

Beat is angry, and Rhyme is sad and sorry, which makes Beat angry some more! They head off, leaving Shiki and Neku to their new impending argument.

Shiki is angry and Neku does his damnedest not to talk to her, either.

Shiki: I don't get you!
Neku: Then why don't you scan me.
Shiki: You know I can't do that! And why shouldn't we just talk about--
Neku: And say what? I'm not opening up. To anyone. Ever. Other people will hold me back. I'll do things my own way.

He stalks off. Shiki asks her cell phone for help, but receives none.
