SKIT! It is truly unbelievable how long it took the party to put together the incredibly obvious fact that Richard is infected by Lambda.

Come on guys. He's been obviously possessed for months now and you've known that Richard and Lambda were doing the same shit for ages.

Okay, I am not even kidding when I say that the game is conspiring against me right now -- things like "Asbel standing still for no good goddamn reason for like twenty seconds at a time the moment I enter into the fight" -- so I'm going to punch Malik right in the throat and go to bed.

In retrospect, I neither need the skit, nor do I care about motherfucking Malik, so I'm going to go with "running past the skit" tomorrow, and Malik can go cry in the corner like the loser he is.

So Graces basically has the plot write the characters instead of letting the characters drive the plot, even till now?

I was hoping that would wear off soon. I prefer story's where the characters don't let the plot dictate them so much that their characters feel less real. Maybe that's why even though I have fun with the game I don't get the same feel for it on a emotional/analytical level as I did past ones? =/

I must agree with you. Kind of odd how at times this game seems like it's teaching players that being suspicious of people, even when you have a good reason for it, is considered bad manners. Let alone listening to them as a good source. What an aseop to take in. -_-

(I'm probably exaggerating, but it feels like that for someone who prefers people to question things more). Xp

That was the conclusion we came to. The characters are doing and saying what's convenient for the plot; when Hubert needs to be suspicious, he is; when he doesn't, he isn't; when Malik needs to be important to Asbel, he is; when he doesn't, he isn't; etc. It's a little disappointing.

I'm still enjoying playing the game, but it's definitely not on the same level that I enjoyed the Team Symphonia games I've played. (It's been a long time since I really played a Team Destiny game.)

orz I wouldn't mind if it were just a red herring, but it's not -- it's a red herring everyone is pretending never happened while maintaining the exact opposite.
