Okay, Asbel is pretty upset that we defeated Richard, but Sophie stops him. Lambda's little ball of darkness emerges from Richard, leaving him normal and in his own clothes again, and a tiny humanoid thing forms from the ball of darkness.

I also resent the fact that the game's plot is predicated around a character we only met in the very last area of the game going "DESTROY LAMBDA DESTROY LAMBDA DESTROY LAMBDA DESTROY LAMBDA" and then going "WAIT HAHAHA I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY LAMBDA".
