Iron Man 3 trailer

Watched the Iron Man 3 trailer, flailing in glee! I think their goal for this trailer was "Make it look and sound as much like The Dark Knight Rises as possible," because obviously they don't have a successful franchise or anything and should try to ride Nolan's coattails. But I'm so excited sldkfjslkgj it's going to be so epic and I'm so excited about the Extremis storyline ahhhhhh

The Mandarin is... okay? But I'm excited because he's been hinted at since the first Iron Man movie if you've paid enough attention.

Ahhhhh I want to write things now!

In other news, I think that fish stole that bear's hat! Not cool, dude.

YES. I've been flailing most of the day at it since watching it every few hours seemed like a good life choice. I have high hopes for Mandarin if only because Ben Kingsley is beyond awesome.

I also counted that I have 5 months to talk husband into going with me to a midnight showing. (gym)

Ahhhh I can't wait five months!! I want to see it all. And hug Tony. I'm very excited for Mandarin, and I have no doubt about Ben Kingsley in the role although the brief shot of him we got in the trailer was weird and they did their damnedest to make him sound like he was MCU version Bane. But THIS STORYLINE, man. This storyline!

Yeah Mandarin's voice was weird in the trailer, I agree. Frankly just the shot of the rings was enough for me without the voiceover sdlkfjslkgj

I KNOW I SAW THE RINGS AND I WAS LIKE "sdlkfjsldkjlgkj hee!"

I just looked it up and told Li "It's a Friday so we have to agree to say FUCK THAT FRIDAY and go to a midnight showing!" and then added like two seconds later "Or to see it after work and just suck it up" because I am weak. We'll see how I feel when it gets closer because hnnnn closest MCU awesomeness fix!! Of course, I get zero time off, for health, for vacation, for anything.

I could drive up there and kidnap you. You didn't want to miss work, it was totally the fault of your maniacal kidnapper who for some reason took you to the IM3 premiere and returned you unharmed and with a handful of merch. Yeah, officer, we can't figure it out either.

I am up for either of these plans, one of which I think is shocking and I will be very lucky [to escape from]. We'll... we'll see how much we're freaking out when the date draws closer. Beacuse it's still five months away ahhhhh
