I don't suppose anyone wants to sit down and beta-read 17,000 words of AU Thor/Jotun Loki fanfic, do they? >_> ...Today? /cough

I have been wasting my break happily writing, watching movies, and playing that Avengers Alliance game. I have done almost none of the things I told myself I was going to do, including finish any of the ten books that I took out of the library to read over the break. Sigh.

But the Avengers Rifftrax comes out today, so my day is made.

So this is completely out of the blue but, I ran into your translation for the Silence of the dragon rider, I really liked it! If you've got extra time in your break, could you write a quick skim summery of the rest? I'd just really like to know what happened next haha

I'm sure a lot of other people thought the same but were anonymous non-registered members like me, so could only remain silent :(

As I've indicated in the post itself, I am not even getting the things I had planned for the break done. Translating is a pretty big task, but summarizing doesn't save me a lot of time and effort. The only part I've really read ahead to is when Yuri and Judith meet for the first time, and she realizes that nobody has used her name in a long time, because it's just been her and Ba'ul before she met Yuri.

While I was translating the Judith novel, I felt like I was annoying people more than doing something nice; from the comments, it seemed like only the same two people were even reading. It was just one more burden that I placed on myself that I felt bad about if I failed, and got nothing back if I succeeded.

So at least for the moment, I don't think I'll be resuming any progress on the Judith novel. If I'm going to do something no one cares about, I at least want it to be something I'm excited about, like fic for my OTP that nobody else likes in my new fandom. XD

I am sorry to the people who were reading and waiting to know what would happen next. If I could snap my fingers and make it happen, or even do it in thirty minutes, I would do it. But it would be a huge undertaking, and I'm out of practice, so I'm afraid that for the time being, that whole project is suspended indefinitely.

I figured as much, translating it does sound like a tedious thing, and vesperia is a niche game that's run it's course.

Thanks though for doing the first few chapters, they were really enjoyable to read, even if it's a few years late ^^
