Randomly...

Finally moved into my new apartment, and the hecticness of my life is abating (until it really sinks in that I need a new job). But for now, there's this:

 
A tropical island, an abandoned city, a dense woodland, an arctic base, a placid suburban neighborhood, or adrift on the open water... There's nothing too safe, too remote, or too strange.
 
In your hand is a communicator. The communicator has a message on it, waiting for you. And that message has the key to your success. Obey it, and you'll be rewarded. Ignore it, and you'll be punished.
 
But either way, sooner or later, you'll wake up and find yourself somewhere else. Your life has been randomized.

...Now that I've plastered your friends page with an advertisement, let me direct you here where there is information about the game opening. The summary is:

June 8th -- you may claim characters you want to play.

June 10th -- whether or not you've claimed a character, you can tag into the meme with any RP journal you want. It's essentially an in-game fourth wall meme.

June 17th -- characters who have been claimed will be able to play in the official first setting of the game. They may optionally have memories of the fourth wall meme, if you choose.

And all the expanded details are here, as I mentioned. For those of you who missed my spiel the first time, it is a laid-back, extremely low-pressure game. Anyone who is friends with me or Li, or knows someone who is friends with us, or who is connected to Marina, or anything, is welcome to join. There are no apps, an honor system activity check, and we're really all just here to have fun. If you're interested, come comment with characters you think you might want to play, or characters you'll meme with! If you're not interested, I'm sorry for the spam.

I...may be suddenly intimidated by the 147 emails on the character claim page. So is there a claim list? Or a wish list?

Mostly those comments are just dorks piling on and enabling one another or expressing excitement about the premise. ♥ If you commented there with a list of characters you're considering, you'd probably get comments along the lines of, "Ooh, I'd love it if you played [X]!" and that might help you decide if you're still debating!

Currently there's been interest in characters from the following canons: Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel-616, D. Gray-Man, Dragon Age, Tales of Vesperia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The World Ends With You, Durarara!!, and Fire Emblem Awakening, if I'm recalling them all correctly. You can see the characters people are considering if you read the top comments, which cuts down hilariously on the spam. There's still a few people who I know are interested but who haven't responded [yet, at least]. Since official claiming doesn't start until Saturday, there's no lists to work off of yet.

If you're not comfortable posting a list and/or you're still unsure, feel free to use any character you're interested in for the meme that starts on the 10th, and see who clicks! :)

Westley is likely, I ain't gonna lie! And Tony... Well, I'm not confident with him but I got HUGE compliments from many people when I briefly DW'd with him in a game, so maybe I don't completely suck SO PERHAPS.

Upon reviewing my muse list there were like 5 others I want to bring so you may get EVERYONE EVER. Sorry. :D

We'd totally be really excited to have you!! And, hey, practice makes perfect. 8D What fandoms are you in? What characters do you want to write for? Those are probably things you'd want to play! And I could help you hunt down icons for a journal or what have you~!

Now is really a good time to throw in -- there's no commitment, no pressure, so you can put down any character and give it a try, and if you don't feel comfortable, you can just do something else and that's cool! We only just put up the meme and the event lasts until this time next week, so you've got plenty of time.

Right now I'm mostly dabblinhg in Iron Man fandom, really. Also 90s kids shows, 'cause I'm so cool. ;D I suppose ...thinking on it now, it narrows down to Effie or Pepper. Probably Effie, I've never actually written Pepper before.

Deeeefinitely will need icon help O.o I don't know where to look anymore, that's how far I've drifted from journal RPing. ...meep. (Ngl, feels like when we first met, lol. Kay-senpai, halp. Oh god lol.)
