Oh, but the lack of even a hint that Sif and Jane have any problem with each other gives me more hope that in three months I can be all "TOLD YOU SO" to all the people screaming about their ~catfighting~ because the marketing department picks the angles it works in magazines and it edits stuff together in incriminating ways but that doesn't mean Sif and Jane are going to literally hiss and claw each other's eyes out in the actual movie. I AM NEVER LETTING GO OF MY SHINING OPTIMISTIC HOPE THAT THEY WILL BE FRIENDS WHO HAPPEN TO BE INTERESTED IN THE SAME DUDE.

I'm very tempted to write The Jealousy Chronicles, a series of oneshots of Sif and Jane being awesome friends having awesome conversations and being awesome together, and very occasionally, having feelings about Thor, but not such that ruins the awesomeness of their approval of each other.
