When Luke wakes up from his own headvoices, he gets to reexperience the trauma of having killed a person. No one is particularly concerned. They make plans to rescue Ion, which might end up with more killing noooo, and Tear tells him that if he can't stand to kill people he needs to sit in the backseat because right now survival and ending a potential war means killing the people who have control of the Tartarus. She's patient with him at first but then gets upset because of the implication that she doesn't care about killing people.

Jade busts out of jail and uses his emergency shutdown code, which is unnecessarily grim. Luke is impressed.
